10 according to the article. Seems about right when guys like Cairney get linked with 15million pound moves.
And he's better than him.

20m and not a penny less to these English doped up stupid fannies.

Rinse their stupidity.
Exactly. McGregor has saved some of his best performances for Europe this year. Bayern at home in particular. He won’t be short of interest.

Easily worth a good bob. He’d also stroll the Championhship down sarrrf if Johansen’s performances are anything to go by.

That would be a complete waste of his talent. Calmac is developing into a champions league level player.

Have to agree with whats being said

Signed up till end of 21 season
has turned into a valuable versatile member of the team, 2 footed excellent technique who is rarely injured.
if there is English interest we should be holding them to ransom, bournemouth spent 15mill on ibe 2 years ago after a handful of games for liverpool
bidding starts at 20

I wonder if BR would be interested in any players of the teams that are relegated from the epl? Outwith our budget?
Stoke have incredible number of misfits. Guys like Berahino and Imbulle were both really rated at one point. Could be chance for them to rebuild careers if BR thought he could do something with them. I thinks its a question of attitude with guys like these.

Jack Butland was pretty scathing in his most recent interview on BBC Sport. Basically says the clubs transfer policy has been rotten and the attitude of guys like Berahino is stinking. Seems like he'd be an expensive mistake.

Edit: On topic - based on the market down there CalMac is worth nothing less than 18 million.

For an EPL club Stokes wages aren't that bad but one of the papers published them last year and said Berahino is on 70k :cuckoo:

There’s few players at Stoke, Southampton, WBA or Swansea who would represent decent value in my opinion.
Jonathan Walters

The guy has his critics but whenever i’ve watched him for Ireland the guy is only ever 5 or 6 pints away from being the next evil genius.

It’s a huge window for Celtic this time & we must show a lot more ambition than we have in the last 3 windows. January in particular was a huge disappointment. The defence is every bit as weak as it was 2 years ago as the signings of Compper & Hendry have done nothing. The need to find a suitable replacement for Lustig is even greater now & especially as he will be playing in the World Cup & will not have much of a break before the vital qualifiers for the CL. Our defence has been a major concern for a long time & needs to be tackled properly.
You would have thought that if Rogic or Armstrong were going to stay then the deals would have been done by now but hopefully we won’t lose both. If we do we can’t just bring in another project in their place.
The striker position is also a major issue as both Dembele & Griffiths have missed a lot of games in the last 12 months & now French Eddie is injured. If Dembele goes money will need to be spent on a suitable replacement.
We have a lot of work to do this window but we have known this for a while & we have the funds in place from the last 2 CL campaigns so there can be no excuses. We simply must come out of the window with a significantly stronger squad than we have at present. We need to bring in players now to improve our first 11 as we have signed more than enough projects in recent years.

Not sure what to make of that. Unless we’ve negotiated a bargain I didn’t see us signing Paddy. Not sure what else it could be though if it’s a “big announcement”
2 weeks tomorrow is Broony's testimonial
I think we might have Paddy lined up. He’s done very little this season (I know he’s been injured), certainly not enough to stay at City and probably not enough for another EPL club to pursue him. We know he’s more than capable, but English clubs probably dismiss him as he’s “playing in a Sunday league”. Fine. Works to our advantage.

Announce Paddy and Eddie and we’re off to s flyer of a summer.

Ps - is “French Eddie” a thing now :nono:

Actually if you had a free pick from all ex-EPL clubs then Butland would probably be the guy you would go for but I think he is way out of our league.

Guys like Berahino are in a bad place. It is just a matter if they want to fix problem or slide into obscurity.

Bar one great season in 14/15, Beharino's 'career' is a catalog of mediocrity and an absolutely stinking attitude. Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole for the money he'll be on. Ciftci represents better value for money.

Joe Allen would be a great shout. Don't see us dipping into that market too much in any case.
