There looks to be a real possibility of losing Armstrong, Rogic, Roberts. The idea of replacing them with Christie, Morgan and McGinn is scary. We'd still be ahead of the huns but I dread thinking about the qualifiers.

That's just the midfield. I think Moussa will go and Eduoard is not guaranteed so we'd need one first team ready striker plus another squad player and the defence needs upgrading as well. Next window could be torture.
If all the players rumoured to be leaving did then we'd still be able to put out a good side for the qualifiers.

---------------Gordon

Lustig-Ajer-Hendry-KT

--------Brown-Ntcham

Forrest-McGregor-Sinclair

------------Griffiths

The manager will probably already have a good idea who's leaving so we should have replacements lined up and bedded in for the final qualifier.

A right back and a couple of centre backs are an absolute must this summer

Right back, two centre backs and a keeper. We’ve needed this for how many windows now?

I feel as though we're going through a period of transition which may continue next season.

One point i'd make is the quality of signings recently is not what i expect.

Dundee and StMirren players are not going to raise our level.

Big summer coming up.

Huge, which is why some of the issues should have been addressed in January. New GK and RB, 2 CB's, back up LB, replace Armstrong, sign Edouard and Roberts or replacements, replace Moussa.

Lee Congerton. I'll never know why Brendan brought him of all people to the club. He helped run Sunderland into the ground and wasn't stellar at Hamburg either. There's nothing in his CV which suggests he's the answer in terms of squad recruitment, something which has been problematic for Brendan before (even at Swansea he tended to sign players he loaned first), but hey he worked with Brendan at Chelsea.

He wasn’t even second choice.

We need a centre back who can organise the defence. They way our full backs push on mean we need a talker in the centre. Our current lot are too reactive.

GK, RB, CB, replace Roberts. Need to hope Musonda can step up and challenge for LW too.

That's provided Jozo, Armstrong and Dembele don't leave. Which is unlikely.

Amazing to think that we looked stronger defensively with Caldwell and McManus in the Champions League than we do currently with any of the current lot, even in the SPFL.

Both of them were bang average but they look like Baresi and Costacurta compared to what's come after them VVD excluded.

That was under WGS though.
I bet Stevie Clarke would improve our defense.

What does Kolo do?

Aye, they were both howling, but we never went into any game worried we'd lose 4 or more goals. 3-0 was a regular thing in Europe, but shipping 7 goals was unheard of. For all that we want ball playing CBs for domestic games, that seems to come with defensive frailties that leaves us terribly exposed against quality.

I never thought I'd see the day where I reminisced about the good old days of Caldwell and McManus
