Every time I read something about that game against St Johnstone my heart starts to race in a repeat of the anxiety I felt that day, fearing that we wouldn't stop them. It's still the most unbearable tension I've ever felt-about anything!
Agreed

I don't think I have ever celebrated a goal as much as our second goal that day

Imagine if we had gone into the last minute knowing that a single goal would have lost the league.

Even 3 draws against the Hun would have allowed Aberdeen to cut our lead to 5 and increase their lead over the Hun to 9.
Would be 12 in front of them with three draws....currently three clear...three draws would add three to Aberdeen, take six off Rangers.

I can't even face thinking about it.

What a day though, and I get the fear as well every time I think about it. The joy this time round is the huns will have to watch it in slow motion and there's not a single thing they can do about it, if they're still alive. Added to that the absolute eternal rager I will have knowing the SMSM played a large part in it.

True

But as gruesome as 2005 was it would have been so much worse in 1998

I never knew either and I asked and got a snotty response so I'll not do the same to you. They printed something along the lines about him posting pictures to his pals showing off his life in America. Obviously, this would have been from donks ago, before he was diagnosed but that didnt matter to the day late rectum. They then retracted it and apologised but too effing late.

I hate these carrots and I hope they all die in a sea of holy fire.

I was working that day , 12 hour shift in the paper mill. Had to rely on the radio !
Finished at 6 , home , wolfed my dinner , upstairs to get ready to go out for the celebratory piss up. I was lying in the bath all happy and the wife come upstairs with a glass of champagne for me !

" thought you'd enjoy this "

I was told years ago (might have ben after this game )that CL had a soft spot for us??
No idea how true this was!!
Watched this game with Aberdeen fans in Motherwell and we were all amazed at the decisions
His Mum was (is) a Celtic fan.

Craig is a Hearts man (of course) but detests Rangers.
I was told the other week he was a Celtic fan as a boy.

Wouldn't surprise me. The carrot is probably booed by his own family when he gets in from work.
