Levein isn't a hun FFS. He's just a walloper.
He might not be a hun, but he would be more comfortable with it if the huns were in our position, and thats the same for most of the cants n scotland, it really grates them that we are the dominant team. GIRFUT
I remember Levein absolutely furious, whilst Dundee Utd manager, after a game at Ibrox, and a shocking ref performance. Don't think I have heard a manager say some of the things Levein said after that game.

Yep went totally mental on live tv. A day later he had changed the narrative. A huns hun 👍

If by a shocking ref performance you mean blatant, unashamed cheating, then yes it was shocking. T'was the bold Rev McCurry who took the plaudits that day in a display that even Dallas never matched.

http://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/sport/football/article-5348607/So-Amazon-bid-Premier-Leagues-new-TV-auction.html

There's so much speculative made up pish in this article I don't know where to begin with tearing through it. Might start with the typo in the headline.

1. Why would the Premier League wait for a provider when they could cut out the middle man and sell directly to the consumer?

2. The whole success of Netflix, Amazon and et al is down to offering a lot of content at any time you want it for a small price. Are people really going to pay £40-£60 a month for something that's on mostly once a week?

3. The domestic wealth of these countries fluctuate wildly. Your average punter in Sweden has a lot more disposable income than your average punter in Vietnam.

4. Surely worldwide service would require a world wide league? To catch as much viewers as possible would that not require for games to played in a friendlier time zone? Man Utd vs WBA in Singapore, anyone?

5. I can't believe that this was printed. I can't believe that someone has tried to make a business model on something that there is no accurate way of measuring (200m households access to internet and television providing the EPL).

Levein is a tool but he’s a hertz man and is pretty much the only manager I have ever heard call out the refs at Mordor for cheating his team

He’s a baw bag - not a hun

Indeed. He said something like ‘it’s hard enough coming here as it is without the referee helping them’ and Tanner, or whatever snivelling wretch it was, tried to steer what he meant towards the OF Bias squirrel by asking if he meant the likes of DU didn’t get a fair deal ”in Glasgow”: “no, not Glasgow! I mean here! This place!”. Everyone sh at it, they’re not programmed to hear that talk so the talking heads in thd studio desperately sought to play it down. Someone - maybe Hartson - gibbered away about McCurry being “a good man, a Christian”! :ffs: sadly, Levein changed his tune later that day and fell into line with the OF/Glasgow bias narrative.

Ooft, he didn’t miss did he? Much more forceful than i remember, and then Butcher backing him up!

I got the impression there that he knew what we knew, that Rangers were facing ruin so needed every penny in prize money it could muster, and the authorities were hell bent on ‘helping’ them.

IIRC Levein’s erse of a chairman at United got involved and changed Rangers to “old firm”.

For all his many faults, Levein is no hun.

That game and the one at dens where they kept being awarded penalties until they finally managed to score one are my personal oldco 'favourites'.

What was the game that Weir basically just grabbed someone by the neck and threw them to the ground in the box (with no pnalty awarded of course) ?

First thing I thought, too! 😂 The Govan Strangler and Elba’s McCulloch - huns games were more like the old wrestling bouts you used to get on Saturday afternoon telly before thd results!
