And to celebrate Celtic drawing Zenit St Petersburg, The Herald is running a piece entitled: Rangers in Russia. How the light blues made history behind the Iron Curtain.

From the Iron Curtain to giant curtains because they can't afford a windae cleaner.
And now, the end is near
The Rangers face, the final curtain.
No Hat, no Davie Weir
Pedro's gone and huns are hurtin

They took, the sheep for fools
and Deek declined, to join the party
But more, much more than this
They still got Murty

Willie Henderson, who is promoting it, says “It was a great thing for Rangers, and it helped strengthen the connection with Russia, which had been going since 1945 when Dynamo Moscow came to Ibrox".

Who can forget all those yearly jaunts to Russia to play their top teams and all the Russian teams arriving at Ibrox almost on a weekly basis?

That's an astonishing piece by Leckie. We savage him when he toes the Sevco party line so it's only fair to give him credit when he finally writes the truth about the antisocial atrocity that is whatever entity that plays out of Ibrox. I honestly can't believe that was published in the Scum.
Precisely what I was thinking too. Quite extraordinary that a piece like that could have been written by, of all people, Leckie.
I had to go out and check there wasn't 2 suns and 12 moons in the sky

 He epitomises the hun for me this balloon. We greet about some ex-Celtic players not always being complimentary about us, but imagine this is your go-to guy? I would laugh if he gets a role with the new manager

Give him credit? Right you are Torq. The snivelling wee worm can go eff himself if he thinks thishalf-arsed effort makes up for 25 years of journalistic fellatio regarding the Huns. Surprised at you though.

 I'm not asking you to marry him! I'm giving him a bit of credit for writing a piece that has more truth in it than anything he or the vast majority of the SMSM have ever written. But it's nice to know I can still surprise. ;)

Compare and contrast the press coverage i.e. furore over our penalty incidents v Murderwell versus the press coverage of the penalties denied v Sevco in their last two games i.e. reported in a matter of fact/move on / them are the breaks sort of way.

Strachan doing an in depth analysis of the weekend games on Sky just now. He directly addresses some of his post match car crash interviews. Very interesting and honest.
Anywhere I could catch this?

When they are given it is discussed but when they are not then invariably they are not discussed.
See our game against Partick at the start of the season when Partick should have had a penalty in the last minute. Not given and quickly forgotten about.

Listening to last night's Clyde. Five minutes in, Gordon Duncan has already referred to "an angry Neil Lennon" three times.
First caller calls Lennon "a thug".
"Oh no now, I think that's a bit disrespectful"
