I like how he claims he never took anything out of Celtic then in his next Tweet boasts that he got £300 per share from Fergus (and wouldn’t have sold for anything less).

Craig Levein having a media spat with Michael Stewart.
'It's Personal' Hearts boss Craig Levein launches astonishing attack on Michael Stewart and reveals he’s complained to BBC about the ‘fool’ Jambos boss says ex-Tynecastle midfielder was EMBARRASSING himself and claimed he is worst value signing - even though he was only paying him £1 a week
Spoiler: click to toggle By Alan Temple CRAIG LEVEIN lashed out at Michael Stewart’s attacks on Hearts. He said the former Jambo was EMBARRASSING himself. And he claimed Stewart was his worst value signing — even though he was only paying him £1 a week. Levein also revealed he had complained to the BBC about the SunSport pundit’s “personal vendetta”. Stewart has been a harsh critic of the former Scotland manager, shining a light on failures in recruitment, playing style and results over a long period. Levein finally cracked on Saturday when Stewart took to the airwaves to describe Hearts’ 0-0 draw against Ross County as ‘not good enough’, pinpointing a lack of quality and penetration. Levein felt that was beyond the pale after the capital club registered 23 shots, ten of which were on target, against the Highlanders. Levein blasted: “It is personal and he is just making a fool of himself. I don’t particularly like him and I hear he doesn’t like me. “He’s said that. He’s openly admitted it. I can take criticism if it’s fair and it’s based on something other than a grudge, but he’s going to self-combust one day. “I’m not at any point saying that I don’t deserve any criticism. “I have had more than most, particularly during my time at Scotland, but criticism of me at that time was valid. “Michael, on the other hand, has admitted he has an agenda and keeps going on about the same stuff over and over again. “I just don’t see how that is fair. “Someone was telling me that he was trawling about on Saturday night trying to find stuff on the internet to prove we hadn’t played well. It is hysterical. He just needs to chill.” Levein brought Stewart back to Scottish football, signing the young playmaker on loan from Manchester United in 2004, with a quirk in the contract meaning Hearts had to technically contribute a pound per week to- wards his wage to seal the deal. And the experienced coach could not resist a cheeky dig at Stewart, claiming he wasn’t even worth that much during a campaign which saw Stewart struggle and their relationship fall apart. Levein added: “I remember his agent at the time was a guy called George Wright, who used to play here. “We didn’t have any money at the time but George said that Man United would cover his salary to come on loan. “However we had to put something on the contract as a technicality, so it was a pound a week and, without doubt, it was the worst value for money player I have ever had! That is a fact.” Levein also revealed he has held talks with BBC bosses. He added: “For him to admit that he has an agenda and for the BBC to still allow him the platform, for me, that is a nonsense. “I have had a conversation with them so we will see what happens.” SunSport’s Stewart has declined to be drawn into a war of words with Levein. The respected pundit said: “I can understand the pressure Craig is under. “But I am not going to respond to what he’s said, much of which is surprising to come from someone who holds such an important position within a prestigious club like Hearts. “My job is to say what I see and I will continue to do that without fear or favour. “I sincerely hope Craig can turn things round at Hearts, but it’s certainly a big job. Personal blast Former Hearts and Hibs midfielder Michael Stewart admits he was “surprised” by Craig Levein’s blistering attack on him but refused to get embroiled in a war of wordsThe SunSport columnist has been a fierce critic of the Jambos boss this season - but refused to be involved in a tit-for-tat battle with his former gaffer By Robert Collins MICHAEL STEWART admitted he was “surprised” by Craig Levein’s blistering attack on him but refused to get embroiled in a war of words. Hearts boss Levein launched an astonishing personal blast at SunSport columnist Stewart and revealed he has complained to the BBC about their pundit. In a breath-taking broadside, Levein also branded Stewart a “fool”, revealed they don’t like each other and said he wasn’t even worth the £1-a-week he paid him as a player. Former Hearts and Hibs midfielder Stewart has been a fierce critic of Levein this season. But he refused to become involved in a tit-for-tat battle with the Jambos gaffer. Stewart said: “I can understand the pressure Craig is under but I am not going to respond to what he’s said, much of which is surprising to come from someone who holds such an important position within a prestigious club like Hearts and does not merit any kind of response in any case. “My job is to say what I see and I will continue to do that without fear or favour. “I sincerely hope Craig can turn things round at Hearts, but it’s certainly a big job.” Levein was appointed director of football at Hearts by Ann Budge in May 2014 but stepped into the dugout when the Ian Cathro experiment flopped earlier this season. The Jambos have endured a difficult campaign on and off the park with the return to their Tynecastle home delayed by problems with their new £13million main stand. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/1916565/michael-stewart-craig-levein-surprised-blistering-attack-hearts/

Is Michael Stewart's "Agenda" with Hearts not that he's a Hearts fan and Craig Levein is doing a pretty good job of ballsing it up playing horrible football/appointing the car crash that was Cathro while escaping unscathed from the fall out?

Part-time tim, full-time moron. Indeed.
Another ex Celt that could probably not name 7/8 of our players that started on Wednesday. I remember Lenny putting him in his place about never in his years as player and manager at the club has he seen him at CP.
I actually seen him last week walking down wellington street hood up and long big jacket on. On his mobile voice booming about Arsenal making top 4 can only assume he was doing some sort things t interview. Was craving for attention....he didnt get any.

Brendan Rodgers and Celtic stars are 'hypocrites' over penalty incidents blasts Charlie Nicholas The former Hoops star reckons those in green and white should have shown more 'honesty' over Scott Sinclair and Callum McGregor's decisions against Motherwell.
Spoiler: click to toggle ByRecord Sport Online Charlie Nicholas has slammed former club Celtic as hypocrites over they way they handled the aftermath to the two penalty awards against Motherwell. Scott Sinclair and Callum McGregor both won important spot kicks which sealed the Betfred Cup and rescued a point at Fir Park respectively. Now Nicholas has turned his sights on Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers and his players and says he would have liked those involved to have admitted they had got lucky with the decisions. Nicholas said in his column with the Express that he reckons those within Parkhead should have been more 'honest' over the decisions that have gone their way in the last week. He said: “What got to me was Sinclair’s manager and team-mates all leaping to his defence and saying it was a penalty. “They all stated there was contact. Yes, there was minimal contact from Cedric Kipre, but there was nowhere enough to send Sinclair to the deck. “I just wish there had been a bit of honesty from those in the Celtic ranks to admit they got lucky with the decision, just as they were when they won another penalty in round two with Motherwell on Wednesday night when Callum McGregor went down and Sinclair slotted it home to keep their unbeaten run going. “Would it have been so hard for those in green and white to say they got away with one there?” Nicholas cites the infamous penalty incident last season against Ross County as an example of dealing with controversy and reckons there is some double standards going on. He reckons a more softly, softly approach would have been beneficial after the fallout from this week's matches against the Steelmen. He added: "Celtic were up in arms when Ross County’s Alex Schalk won a controversial penalty in a 2-2 draw in Dingwall in April. "When Schalk threw himself to the ground under no contact from Erik Sviatchenko, Hoops manager Brendan Rodgers was quick to criticise referee Don Robertson for pointing to the spot, claiming it was one of the worst decisions he’d seen. Celtic goal hero Scott Sinclair loved silencing Motherwell boo boys after burying controversial penalty "His then manager Jim McIntyre admitted straight away it wasn’t a penalty, and Schalk was correctly hit with a retrospective ban. "Why could no one from Celtic do the same with Sinclair’s dive? They are being hypocritical by not doing so." Celtic host Motherwell tomorrow in the final game of three between the sides within the last six days. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/brendan-rodgers-celtic-stars-hypocrites-11621266

No time for guys like him. His own career flunked due to his poor choices and I doubt he has ever coached as much as boys club since he retired from playing. Should have been an all time great. Waste of talent. Poor type of guy to give advice or criticism. Yet we all do it with not many of us kicked a ball at any decent level.
There were more than enough people on here seemingly getting het up at us getting a penalty on Sunday (strange days indeed) for his criticism to resonate with some folk.
He's entitled to his opinion, even it is a load of bollocks.

Charlie’s problem is he’s thick as pigshampoo but thinks he’s the smartest guy in the room, if he played for the Huns he’d get away with his patter (see McCoist.
