Lose to PSG and the team finds itself unashamedly pilloried by every Tom Dick and Harry in these rags.

"Whatever could we be thinking", "We are representing Scottish football on the world stage", "Need to adopt tactics a-la-gardiniere" etc etc etc.
These tosspots have the temerity to foam at the mouth over the last result and then tell us that we cannot be allowed to beat Motherwell?

Oh, if only we not having so much fun laughing at their obvious pain....
Try thinking about the crap you fandans scrawl and the overall reputation of Scottish sport journalism.
Useless fuds the lot of them.

seems everybody over the weekend including the dundee captain on Friday night had the rainbow armband on

except the bin bag

any comment in the press about this :ponder:
As much as I cant stand the binbag fecker, are we going to start persecuting, and demonising people who don't conform to enforced opinions, a very dangerous road to be going down

I don't know why Miller wasn't wearing the same armband, but if a hypothetical person was to air their hypothetical shampooey views in public, then they're fair game for criticism. This is not "persecution", for Christ's sake.

Opinions aren't above criticism just because they're opinions. Treating hypothetical bigots like snowflakes who can't be told what's what is the far more dangerous road.

Probably because the entire situation in the OP's post is hypothetical at best and, at worse, completely made up.

Looking at the official match pictures from the Dundee Twitter account, their captain was the only player to wear the rainbow armband, rather than Kenny Miller being the only player not to wear it.

But I suppose people need something to get worked up over now that poppy season is behind us.

I particularly enjoy the hurt emanating from the SMSM these days. It makes these past few years all the more enjoyable however, I wonder why we never heard these type of comments when the huns were cheating their way to their tainted titles

So they are fair game for criticism, and that criticism is they have shampooey views, and they should be told what's what.

They're both undoubtedly dangerous roads to go down.

But no' half as dangerous as the wee road at the back o' ma hoose. It's like a sheet o' ice.
Nearly fell on ma arse on ma way tae the Spar.

Got back safely wi' 6 cans o' John Smiths though.

I still remember very clearly an incident in the Scottish League Cup Final v St Mirren of the camera catching him clearly calling an opponent an effing p**f.

Never seen the full game online anywhere since to verify the incident but I recall it being very obvious to even the most basic lip reader.

What would be good for Scottish football is the other clubs cutting out the hoofing and hacking and try to play the game in the correct manner.

Do it for the good of Scottish football

Never mind that we have a corrupt governing body who turned a blind eye - and indeed were complicit in - years of cheating which has done more than anything to make our national game a laughing stock. Ignore the fact that our national team has once again failed to reach a major tournament following a qualifying campaign where the best players from the best club in the country were either not called up, or called up to sit on the bench while Slovenia ran us ragged. And don't dare mention the fact that while Celtic will likely (hopefully) be playing in European competition after Christmas, the rest of the diddy clubs from our league are getting pumped off minnows from Luxembourg and Cyprus before the season even effing starts. Forget that the caretaker manager of the national team is an on the record racist. Don't even listen to the songs of bile and bigotry which continue to seep from the stands at some ground in the country.

What Scottish football really needs is for Celtic to be beaten and put back in their place. Because Celtic winning all the time is what's really hurting our league :there:
