I am not interested in your attempts at whataboutery. Nor am I interested in any further discussion with you. I have made my points. My perception is you are working to an agenda. You are determined to get me to specifically smear Daly both here and via PM. I suggest you re-read my original comment which seems to have irked or pricked you interest. BTW You give Daly a lot of credit for uncovering stuff that just wasn’t his. All of his work on EBTs and Whyte (like every other mainstream journalist/reporter) merely picked up stuff that was already widely known and shared on a number of websites notably rtc. I think you will find, for example, that it was my late esteemed namesake who had Whyte’s address in Monaco long before anyone else, discovered his ownership of the Duvalier villa in Grasse (a hop, skip and a jump from Monaco and Murray’s estate), and was informing RTC that Whyte was being pursued for his castle mortgage months before Administration Day. There are plenty of others (eg RTC, Barcabhoy and Auldheid) who deserve the actual praise before Daly. Mods - i do not wish to derail or hog the board so please delete if desired. Thanks.
My agenda is to find out why your original post implied MD was involved in a conspiracy against you. End of. Here is a wee litmus test.
Daly knows all about The Offshore Game Report on both The LNS Commission and the UEFA Licence of 2011 being challenged by Resolution 12.
If the SFA Comp Officer investigation into the UEFA Licence issue finds not only did RFC lie to be granted the licence but that the SFA tried to cover it up, will the BBC report what amounts to RFC fraud and SFA covering it up?
I have no doubt that if a Brysonesque finding emerges it will be reported, but there is a ream of evidence that RFC lied and SFA were unwilling to act on information provided. That is why that after 6 years, an investigation is underway.

Whether MD wants to or not doesn't really count as he doesn't make commissioning decisions.

Nor does he answer direct questions about whether he has experienced influence to pull a negative story about RFC Charity from within the BBC. Perhaps you can answer that question? It would certainly clear MD of any culpability if he was doing the bidding of his superiors. We've all got bosses.

Your very first post way back is about Daly, do you know him personally?
Yes. I know him well. And I know a few more facts about this story than corsica gives me credit for. That's why I know something is wrong with his version. Do you have a Twitter handle that has the word ‘thinker’ in the title? Just curious...

For someone who joined in 2012 its weird you havent followed Corsica's story on here It was widely discussed in threads for a number of months. And you did like the old hun thread back then. Maybe you just didnt see it, or maybe not interested. Which makes it even weirder that you're so interested now, and using language such as 'smear' and 'conspiracy' Just an observation
Again, not my main interest here. I remember the story first time round. What pricked my ears up was corsica's comment about MD was doing the rounds on twitter. I want to find some if any substance to his claims. So far he's deflecting and getting twitchy. Still had no evidence that makes me believe his story. Which btw, I'm happy to do if the evidence is credible. So far it looks like a smear on a decent journalist. Nothing suspect or sinister in that is there? Ok Mark

I'm not trying to protect them, just a good journalist, who happened to get a very similar backlash from gers fans when he was telling them difficult truths. its not edifying watching people attack Mark Daly for programmes he's not made and conveniently ignore his work so far. I don't need to defend him. His work speaks for itself.

I am very much looking forward to BBC Scotland's documentary on 'Sir David Murray: The Man Who Ripped Off Scotland, Shafted The Country For £1billion, Killed a Football Club By Tax Evasion And Profited Personally By Millions Of Quid.'
Perhaps by Mark Daly.....or another courageous, investigative journalist.
Will it be on BBC 1 or Dave?

So if im reading correctly...
MD basically fronts the show and does some spadework-already in the public domain-according to the narrative latitude or steering as decided by those higher up in the Beeb??
Anyone else see potential problems/conflicts of interest here?
It all smacks of tightly controlled Limited Hangout from further up the chain.
Weirder and weirder.

Good to see a positive story in the media regarding Celtic and Remembrance day.
'CONTINUED SUPPORT' Celtic praise work of Poppyscotland as Parkhead club makes its annual £10,000 donation as Remembrance weekend approaches Poppyscotland’s Head of Fundraising Gordon Michie thanked the Hoops for backing the charity's education work
Spoiler: click to toggle By Robert Collins CELTIC have hailed the work of Poppyscotland as the Parkhead club made its annual £10,000 donation two days before Remembrance weekend. Hoops first-team stars Patrick Roberts and Callum McGregor handed over the cheque to Dr Derek Patrick, project officer for new educational initiative The Moving Poppy. The free-to-access mobile unit will tour Scotland from late 2018 to commemorate the end of World War I, reiterate the ongoing importance of Remembrance and focus on the impact of recent conflicts. The Moving Poppy is expected to visit 150 schools annually and engage with 9,000 pupils. Poppyscotland’s Head of Fundraising Gordon Michie said: “As we approach 100 years since the end of the First World War, Poppyscotland has ambitious plans to redevelop our Learning programme, Sowing the Poppy Seed. “The Celtic FC Foundation has been a long-standing supporter of Poppyscotland, and in particular our education work. “This further, significant contribution will enable us to reach more young people in new and innovative ways. “Our grateful thanks go to the Celtic FC Foundation for their continued support.” Celtic FC Foundation chief executive Tony Hamilton said the club was “delighted” to back the work of Poppyscotland. Speaking to the club’s website, he added: “The Moving Poppy project will commemorate the end of the First World War and will fittingly educate young people on the cost of conflict, with a view to promoting a more peaceful future. “This Remembrance Sunday we remember all those who died in that war, a conflict which claimed the lives of over 16million people. “It was a conflict which affected individuals, families, communities and organisations in every country caught up in the war, and Celtic Football Club was no different. “As the world was plunged into war in 1914, all aspects of life changed and the Great War was to have its effect on Celtic and a number of its players. “As we remember them and all fallen in all conflicts, we are pleased to continue our support of Poppyscotland through this excellent initiative.” This was the first comment on the story. Went about off track after this; Spoiler: click to toggle TRUSTEES of the Rangers Charity Foundation have been criticised after cash went to the crisis-hit football club itself. By Dean Herbert PUBLISHED: Aug 7, 2013 It has emerged that almost £200,000 raised by a game between Rangers Legends and AC Milan Glorie was not passed on to charities. The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) said the behaviour of Foundation’s trustees “constituted misconduct”. Most of the money raised went to Rangers, which was in administration at the time. The match, which featured former players such as Ally McCoist, and Richard Gough, generated just £38,286 for the Foundation. The Regulator’s report says that £191,430 due to the charity went to club administrators. Scotlands shame
