Jim Duffy on BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound saying that the new Sevco manager will need "tons of money or tons of time" but that Sevco "don't have tons of money and he won't get tons of time."
Did he give any hints why he parted company with Morton?
Easedales wanting in. Apparently they are back on the scene and Douglas Rae has stepped aside and his son has taken over.

Few years back(before they ended up at the huns) they offered to build stands in the wee Dublin end and the Sinclair street end of Cappilow.

They were top of the championship with about 5 games to go. Partick ended up going up that season, so the stadium development wasn't required and the Easedales went onto the hun project  instead.

They (Morton)actually bought one of the old stands from Love Street with the intention of erecting it at Cappielow but it has not happened so far.

They bought the steelwork for the roof on the Love Street end of St Mirren Park with the intention of covering the away end at Cappielow. Last I heard was it's been lying out in the open so long it's now worthless.

Gordon Smith believes that Gerrard would be a great appointment but rangers would be humiliated if he does not take the job.
Also this: “The last two games against Celtic have been a bit of a disaster for them because they’ve played below the level those players are capable of.
“If Gerrard is the right man then that gulf isn’t as big as it’s seemed in the last two games.”

Name game Rangers will have bigger name in Steven Gerrard than Celtic have in Brendan Rodgers if he lands Gers job, says Gordon Smith
The Light Blues are set to hold more talks with the Liverpool legend on Thursday as they look to replace sacked Graeme Murty

Well, if you're comparing playing careers, Gerrard is a bigger name. Rodgers effectively had to quit at 20 due to injury.

On that basis, the rest of the article can only be considered arse-wipe.

Diego Maradona this week lost his job as manager of a second division team in UAE after failing to win promotion. That’s how far being a big name player got him.

To be fair to the Wigmeister Gerrard is a bigger name.

But then Jennifer Lawerence is a bigger name than Gerrard.

I demand action from the Celtic board.

See all this crap that England will now be very interested in the SPL next season because of SG.
It is doing my head in.
England/SKY/BBC will now be even more interested in Der Hun than they already are now!!No one else not us not Aberdeen or hibs.
In fact getting down to it they will only really be interested in how easy SG is finding his wee project up north.
The build up to this season even after a double treble success from Celtic will be nauseating from the msm.

Nauseating only if you give a flying furck about the SMSM.

The acid tests will be in the courts, and on the park.

The scouse louse has his head up his arse, his connection with the sevco can be trumpeted from the heavens, but so long as the Ibroke clusterfekk continues to provide laughter for us, and it will, lets sit back and enjoy.

Incidentally and appropos of nothing, St. Gerrard is the patron saint of pregnant mothers. Just saying. :)

I quite like SG - it would have been funnier if he'd told the huns to fk off but hey ho... hopefully he'll fall on his arse or walk away when he realises that you can't polish a turd and that the gasl's millions are pie in the sky

Some poster earlier said that he's got the under 18 team he's coaching as "the fittest in the league".
If Mr Gerrard can get this current sevco mob the fittest in the SPFL, they'll still get humped, as their skill level is woeful and if he doesn't know that yet, he soon will.
