Sunday 30th then for the "Glasgow Derby"
Am i the only one who dislikes this game getting a set date? The fixtures should be entirely randomly set, without favur to any club or clubs. It's disrespectful to the rst of the league if certain derbies get preferential treatment.
I agree

Unfortunately the reality is that Sky only care about the 'Old Firm' game and market it as such

It's pretty much Europe-wide with derby weekends now. You'll have one on the early Sat in England, a German one at tha back of 5, Italian at half 8, Dutch on Sun Morning, Us Vs Huns, then maybe another English or a Spanish one at night.

The reason derbies were played at NY was due to travel arrangements for fans iirc. No public transport, so easier to take your team to the closest one.

Tradition, now leave it alone. It's no just us.

My money’s on Ferguson, he’s on the show as much as the presenters

I thought there was a high % of derby games over the festive period due to historical lack of public transport when the games were actually played on the public holidays so the schedulers always paired the clubs that were closest to help fans get there. It now seems to be a tradition that’s stuck and been exploited by TV

From a business standpoint alone that second point is ludicrous.

I hadn't thought of the transport aspect of festive derby games. Interesting.

How many times over the last 6 years has the statement of massive investment being announced for rangers been made by most of the huns/journos in the media, guidi, keevins, young. Johnstone, the list goes on. Wishful thinking guys, never gonna happen

Some timing on an announcement of a large investment, what are the chances it's arrived the same weekend things are looking particularly grim for them.

He’s said it every season since Sevco were formed.

Investment: the action or process of investing money for profit.

There is no plausible business case that can be put together that can gather profits from a football club saying they are a rangers playing out of Ibrox.

Any money put into the business if not written off by the provider must be coming from a fool.

At best there maybe a donation, in no way could anyone who understands investment class it as an investment.
