Do folk like Commons actually forget that they played for Celtic? I'm all for ex-players giving a balanced enough view, but that nonsense about Murty and points/top of the league is just antagonistic effing nonsense.
He's going the way of Andy Walker. Desperate to ingratiate himself with the Sevco press. What he doesn't get though, is that going against the grain will be better for him in the long run. Sutton is probably one of the most watched pundits in British sport precisely because he refuses to be in someone else's back pocket.

Hell mend Commons. The way it's going he'll become a Proven like pariah, despised by the very support that used to love him.
I'd go a step further and suggest that the likes of Commons, Walker, Provan etc do not have the ability to think out of the box and come up with their own interpretations of the game. These limitations within them have also been identified by the SMSM which in turn, makes them ideal clones to fulfill "pundit expert" duties within the game up here, providing both secure employment for said clone and also a continuation of broadcasting pish.

Well said Bertie. It's a pity some of the younger ex-footballers couldn't come out and say something like this.
