That one zoomer comparing singing a song to rape :nono: :ffs:

The inability of certain chunks of the SNP to think critically about OFAB, or even tolerate criticism of OFAB, is a major reason why I'm not a part of the SNP anymore. Despite what some people seem to believe, holding politicians to account isn't just something we do to Unionists, and criticism of the SNP isn't an act of sabotage against independence. These people might talk a good game about civil rights and democracy, but at even the slightest hint of a challenging opinion and suddenly they're all for the sort of egregious legalized harassment they're bitching to the Spanish about.

SNP, Labour, Tory- all not done enough and been keen to use underhand methods of policing at times

Reason for edit: previously talking shampoo
Yes of course you are correct but tell that to young lads getting doors kicked in at 5am due to singing songs and banners at a football game for gods sake.

Losing jobs/careers and employers not liking them due to their politics & team they support then it is as ugly as the oppression you mention.

SNP are fast turning grass roots support against them by silly policies and refusal to at least talk to supporters who rightly want dialogue over an unjust badly written law.

People's futures on the line due to them and for what... songs and banners. Seems to me a particular focus on GB and Celtic fans (think a home league game jungle bhoys were focused on a as well according to some on here who sit at that end of CP)

Don't see video cameras mentioned from Hun pals at ibrox yet seems constant focus on us and GB in particular

Horrific law and police setup caused by them.

As stated above I'm out from voting for them for anything for foreseeable

I never heard it as I refuse to watch them, but my mate was telling me that the hun song book was getting the full airing on Friday against St Johnstone - haven't read of any arrests and haven't seen the media making any comment about it (I recall they were wetting themselves when it emerged that BT had to turn the volume down when Celtic played Hamilton).

According to George Galloway, Reid is an accomplished singer and guitar player and "taught a whole generation of Labour activists, including yours truly, the entire IRA songbook".

Pretty sure Brian Wilson our board member was officer in command of Celtic Supporters Club Westminster

Have it on good authority he likes a sing about Irish Struggle as well.

He visited my work while he was Secretary of State for Scotland - this was before his War Criminal days and his time on the Celtic Board. It must have been not longer after MON was appointed, and all he was interested in talking about was Celtic.

a Crediting Reid with introducing rebel songs to Labour activists is a bit off. Most of the big hits were already well known to working class timothies and the more obscure numbers could easily be sourced at the barras.

b The IRA doesn't have a songbook,they aren't a choir.

a) Galloway wasn't speaking literally, he was just making a point about Reid's beliefs / support.
b) I know

Comments on that link :ffs:

James dornan trying to say Celtic supported the bill ...fella responded to his tweet....

"Until you sort out sectarian marches in your constituency i cannot take you seriously "....

Dinner. Served. Dornan.

Totally agree, the behaviour to any criticism (in this case highly justified) of the SNP is sycophantic, fanboy pish. It's bewildering.

Apparently the GB are all Tories/Unionists....

The councillor on twitter trying to make out they were unionists by stating that they never had any banner against John Reid  :ffs:

The SNP have something like 80,000 new members, probably all under 18 after the referendum.

Poor bastards can only remember as far back as their last ham shank never mind when John Reid was on the board.

A 2014 photograph of James Dornan - yes, that James Dornan - standing in front of a Cumann na mBan banner at a talk about the Easter Rising has surfaced.

The absurd hypocrisy of an inequality in the application of the law laid bare. If a member of the GB had a picture like that floating around, in any context, you know there would be a knock at the door before the end of the week.

Lucky for Jim YouTube wasn't around back in the day.
He'd be laughed out the parliament.
