Banner was fantastic and it’s clearly rattled some cages. Some amount of moonhowlers on twitter who wouldn’t have the first clue what effect the OBFA has had on fans

Equality advocate= upset they included woman on the poster
Aside from that piece of rank hypocrisy why would an 'equality campaigner' want people held to different legal standards for going to a football match than those not?

She literally is clueless.

Woman's advocate and for equal rights amongst sexes and that's fine but unhappy that two females are held up for criticism on a banner that highlights an unjust law.

As for Celtic condoning it think at the time the famine song was at its peak media jumped on the perma rage incensed levels it gets to- whilst covering every and any story to heighten tensions as they do CONSTANTLY... old firm stabbings, kenny miller after 5-1 game (nothing to do with the game but two hun lassies falling out)

Club made a solid point at the time song is racist( can you imagine if any person a different colour, creed nationality was told to go home) and would support correct legislation to combat racist and sectarian chants. As others have made on previous pages the stupidity of how you can get to court at a football match is a complete joke.

It wass poorly written and enforcement of it is abhorrent as we see read every two weeks at CP kids getting doors kicked in at 6am for a political banner or song -😱 Jobs being lost etc. Shameful.

Ironic thing is most probably vast majority of GB and sizeable portion of Celtic fans & catholic element (including myself)of our support Probably voted for independence... talk about bite the hand that feeds you.

Ill not be near them voting wise for a long long time.

She's a strange fruit alright. She had a brief media gig fawning over the royals. Then she was a Tory. Was surprised when she rocked up to local events during the Yes campaign. Now she's an equality advocate. All in the space of about six years.

Orange Order fancy dress fail: Cops sanctioned over handling of 'Nazi' picture

COMPLAINTS about how Police Scotland handled a probe into people dressing as Nazis and Catholic clergy at a loyalist flute band fancy dress party in an Orange Order hall have been upheld following an internal investigation.
Two officers have been sanctioned after it emerged that they failed to progress the first complaint and then failed to record a second complaint about pictures of the fancy dress party first posted on Facebook and subsequently published in the Sunday Herald in July.

I am always the first to pull anyone up for sexism (no, really Sally? You don't say  ) but that eejit Zambonini totally barking up the wrong tree. There's nothing to suggest sexism in that banner, the women were in no way criticised for anything the men weren't.

She's an equality officer who doesn't appear to agree with equality

There is nothing in the banner that is factually incorrect

The legislation deliberately set out to create new criminal acts which can only be committed by football fans

All of those people either passed the legislation or administer the consequences of that legislation

Aye.

A vacuous carpetbagger clearly out of her depth commenting on issues she has no understanding of.

She has embarrassed herself this weekend. Wishy is better off without her as a councillor.

Anyone mocking child abuse in the manner they did deserves all that's coming to them. How anyone finds that funny I don't know.

The inability of certain chunks of the SNP to think critically about OFAB, or even tolerate criticism of OFAB, is a major reason why I'm not a part of the SNP anymore. Despite what some people seem to believe, holding politicians to account isn't just something we do to Unionists, and criticism of the SNP isn't an act of sabotage against independence. These people might talk a good game about civil rights and democracy, but at even the slightest hint of a challenging opinion and suddenly they're all for the sort of egregious legalized harassment they're bitching to the Spanish about.

they do seem to not take any form of criticism very well ftom the msp's to the people attached to them.

OBAF act highlights the point when any suggestion from quite a large volume of SNP supporters (dont want to broad brush but you would think a lot of Celtic fans would be rank and file SNP voters) that is is quite clearly incorrectly drawn up and implemented by police yet the fierce "its working, arrests are up, so that all the counts" is not only farcical but dangerous stuff from a mainline political party.

Point you make to catalonia is valid and only strengthens their hypocrisy.

SNP, Labour, Tory- all not done enough and been keen to use underhand methods of policing at times
