Quoting limited to 3 levels deepThat's no reason to ban away supporters.
i've been to them all and know all about it. i travelled on a supporters bus most of the time but sometimes used public transport with no issues. even today you can't safely travel to ibrox on the subway. ergo it's not hassle free. that's all i'm saying. i don't want away fans barred from anywhere.
Of course you can travel safely to Ibrox on the subway. Just don’t show any Celtic colours or sing the Jimmy Bell song. The eff do some people want, a Sellick monorail to every ground and a shower of shamrocks as we enter the stadium? ffs that's a totally ridiculous statement to make.
no i don't want that but it would be nice to feel safe on public transport in glasgow in 2017.

Last night, after Legia players came back from Poznan after the match against Lech there was an upsetting incident next to Legia's stadium. Some of the fans tried to articulate what they think about the team's play and attitude but their emotions took the better of them quickly and they should not. There was a scramble. Weszlo.com's reporter, Krzysztof Stanowski said, that Legia players were beaten on a parking, and "Przegląd Sportowy" mentioned that even Aleksandar Vukovic (manager's assistant) was "hurt". Players were supposed to get a signal that such attitude as in Poznan will not be tolerated. It's just shame that the message took such form. Noone from the club wants to commend on this information, players don't want to talk about the incident and they're angry with how they play more than they're angry with the fans. They all went to their homes quickly, where they'll be thinking not only about the shameful loss to Lech Poznan but also about what happened after they came back to Warsaw. It is said players were asked to leave the coach and then were slapped in the cheeks and back of the head as a form of humiliation rather than a way to hurt them. Some of them are said to be considering terminating their contracts with the club with the Legia's fault (the board would have to pay off their contracts). It's ultras culture in the East.
We have several incidents, where ultras take liberty to educate players how to fight for the shirt (in my language "the educational one" means slap to the face). Like, ultras coming into the training session to threaten players after a defeat (in one Maribor incident they were let in by sports director to help motivate the players) Several times after the last whistle pitch is invaded and players are undressed, like you don't deserve to wear the sacred shirt.
Ultras are problematic as they're organized like (para)military organization, full of macho ideas of "sacred shirt", "fighting for the badge" to an extent not shared with "civilian" fandom or players, obviously, and absurd ideas of "educating" players with threats and violence.

In his interview with Simon Ferry, Aiden McGeady retold the story of gun-weilding Spartak ultras turning up to give the team a "talk". Just walked right into the dressing room like it was an everyday thing.

Mind Aiden McGeady recalling a story about Spartak ultras being allowed into the dressing room after a defeat, threatening the Brazilian players and all carrying pistols And here they are several years later in the champions league. Amazing what a bit of constructive reinforcement can achieve.
Someone should relay this tale to the Crystal Palace ultras.

I do. Sounds effing amazing
Can the subway train have wifi tae?

Was there ever a working Green Brigade end of season video doing the rounds? After such a memorable season on and off the pitch, it seems a shame not to have one.

4 year football ban and 160 hours community service. About fair I would say.
In the hysteria I said he should be banned for life but that is way too harsh and nonsense. The idiot made a mistake. We all make them so this is a fair punishment.
