Ibrox is one of the easiest away grounds to get about etc.
have you travelled there on the subway?
I got the Lisbon Lion bus for my first trip to Ibrox the other week.

Shocked by how little of they bastards you actually saw before getting into the stadium.

If you're on a supporter's bus, in a car or happy to walk from the City Centre via a mental detour that somehow takes you to the Broomloan while avoiding PRW then sure; like any ground it's safe to negotiate. If you rely on public transport you're fecked
in other words it's not hassle free.

Yes. Walked it too. No hassle, though obviously wouldn't do so wrapped in a tricolour.

Going to any away game can be logistically tricky, to varying degrees. That's no reason to ban away supporters.

This all day long. If I never have to see them again , I'll be happy. No away fans at the Celtic v rangers game - Celtic Park will still sel out, not have to maneouvre through their ugly faces, less police costsand denying them money when we go to ibrox - all good in my view
I love going to Ibrox, nothing better than beating them in their own midden. Banning away supporters at any ground is a terrible idea.
I'm with you . Fcukin love sticking it to them in their own midden. Loved last week, and the previous 2 visits last season . Would hate to have been denied that

Then as we walked along behind the Govan towards the Broomloan all I heard was" haul you ya carrot S***h whit you daein here ya mickey bastard" 😬 Just keept waking , heads down .... bastards

I always remember my dad telling me about his car breaking down an the way to a match against them in the 60s/70s. A huns supporters bus offered them a lift, unbeknown to their allegiances. My dad said it wa the most terrifying journey of his life, particularly when trying to engage with their lot about the hun players. Then the Sash started  . They somehow survived it, got off the bus only for his mate to turn round some 50 yards or so from the bus and launch an absolute torrent of abuse at them, guy couldn't wait any longer  Needless to say it was a quick jog to the ground thereafter.

Did the insurance pay out for the panned in windows when they went back to get the motor?

I remember, foolishly, waiting across from Mermaid at James Street Bridgeton Cross for Trolley Bus to game at Ibrox .
Three guys came out of pub who knew me & knew I was a Tim started to lay into me , a couple of guys stopped them fortunately and a big lorry stopped to allow people to climb on to go to game !
After that , I just walked to any Rangers v Celtic game at Ibrox with no colours & walked back .

Presume anyone wanting us banned from Ibrox doesn't go to away games? Was bad enough being locked out of Linfield
Seems like it. For those of us who like to follow the team week in week out we will continue to take the tickets and that includes ibrox.
I go to the away games. I just hate everything that goes around going to their ground.

Other than the £40+ that's not the only ground we visit where that happens

Eff sake, it's hardly Pyongyang.

Some people want lifted and laid to the game, not to encounter and non-tims, and then to have a sanitised home-only support.

That sounds pish.

I'd hate to see some people on here if they experienced going to tyncastle or pitodrie. Ibrox is a walk in the park on and off the pitch these days.

i've been to them all and know all about it.
i travelled on a supporters bus most of the time but sometimes used public transport with no issues.

even today you can't safely travel to ibrox on the subway. ergo it's not hassle free. that's all i'm saying.

i don't want away fans barred from anywhere.

Of course you can travel safely to Ibrox on the subway. Just don’t show any Celtic colours or sing the Jimmy Bell song.

The eff do some people want, a Sellick monorail to every ground and a shower of shamrocks as we enter the stadium?
