I sit net to a mum and her two kids. What the hell am I supposed to do?
Depends what they're singing chief. You can never be too careful.
There can never be enough self policing. Imagine the kids kick the back of the seat in front of them- banned for life, that just won't do. And the federation of self policers will pay your fine for intervening.
Now your talking. I'm into season 2 of getting my seat kicked. The wee boys parent is oblivious to this and it really gets oan ma chookies. On Saturday I will be spoilt for choice. Punch the boy? Probably not a good idea as he is around 8 or 9 I guess. Punch his Father? This is tempting but the poor guy probably gets his car seat kicked coming back and forth to games. Alternately punch my own son as he has been giving me lip for ages. Decisions, decisions.
Do I have to consult a committee before acting?

Once the real troublemakers have been identified everyone else there should batter them, then they should all go for a pint and send the bar bill to this thread.

Hampden on many an occasion even went through someone's Green house - not via the door but via the roof.

Back in the day you used to be able to dive over the turnstiles at Pittodrie.

Not that I would ever have done such a thing obviously!!!! :bawman:

Anyways as to Hatton he has given it his best Faulty Towers Manuel with Hawthorn at Celtic and pleaded "I know nothing" - Told him he can't even remember being at the game let alone running on the pitch or taking a swipe at Mbappe.

Doesn't quite correlate with his behaviour at the time or as he got huckled or some aspect of his lawyer's take on events but that is his explanation to Celtic. :suspect: - I doubt very much the tweet about him not getting banned by Celtic will be the case - As things stand the Sherriff has banned him in anycase.

As to ballbhoy's post about self policing by coincidence we were talking about that before Tuesday night's game in relation to some of the fuds that get to the away games now namely the SMV not the GB - We all agreed we were no angels but you knew were you stood as far as being in the Celtic Support - I remember a game at Muirton just before it closed about 1990 and became Asda or whatever - For some reason some young St.Johnstone fans about 12/13 must have taken some brave/daftie pills and appeared walking right through the Celtic Support at half time - You could tell they were clueless wee boys they were daft but not trying to be gallus - A bawbag about 18/19 punched both of them as they went through which had the wee ones greeting - Before he knew it he took five rapid off another Celtic fan and nobody even flinched except for a few of the Troops telling the fud who hit the wee boys to gtf which he did - Two cops saw all this and waded in and got the Perthshire Farmer's kids out - They then came back and the Bhoy who dished out the retribution thought he was getting huckled only for one of the cops to give him the thumbs up - Not so sure the fud who hit the kids would have bullied kids again so quickly after that sore face tbh

The season we were at Hampden, we lost a midweek game against Thistle 3-1. After the third went in, this clown decided to bring out his Thistle scarf and wrap it around his neck in a "look at me" motion. He nearly got lynched. Polis managed to get him out and back through the gates to their end.

The tube that jumped on the park must have had mates around him who should have grabbed him to stop him. I remember being at the new year game when we beat the Huns 2 nil and Frank McAvennie scored both and one of the boys we were with was determined he was going on the pitch to skelp a rangers player. We managed to restrain him. That boys mates should have done him a favour on Tuesday.

An old man punching a young lad who was in police custody and a bunch of past their best codgers hitting stauners of admiration. Pathetic.
Well said, I was worried people were beginning to take the matter of a guy getting slapped on the back of the heid too seriously.

"The Police have guns, shoot him"

Harry Brady, Celtic underground podccast. Genuinely stunned
Surely to eff he's joking?
I actually misquoted him. He actually said (and this is a direct quote):

"One of the effers should have got his gun out and shot him" after a diatribe before and after about increased terror threats and police presence.

What a dick. :ffs:
