I see that James Doleman is now reporting on those appearing at Glasgow court in relation to the Linfield game so I guess the information is now in the public domain. As it's a live case I'm only repeating what James is tweeting. The charges relate to t-shirts worn at the game. The charge is that the tshirts worn "relate to support for a proscribed terrorist organisation, the IRA". Lads involved being named in BBC article
Spoiler: click to toggle Eight Celtic fans are to stand trial for allegedly wearing tops bearing images supporting the IRA.
Martin Gardner, 49, John Forbes, 31, Anthony Kerr, 33, Asjad Siraj, 29, Paul Townsend, 26, Paul Quigley, 26, Ryan Gallagher, 28, and Stefan Morris, 24, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
The men deny the charges relating to the Offensive Behaviour at Football Act on 19 July at Celtic Park.
A trial date was set for December and the men were released on bail.
All eight allegedly wore shirts with an image which "displayed an image with a figure related to and in support of a proscribed terrorist organisation, namely the IRA".
Mr Quigley, from Cumbernauld, Mr Gallagher, from Glasgow and Mr Morris, from Ardrossan are also accused of displaying a banner with an image which related to the IRA.
The three men appeared in court along with Mr Townsend, from Cumbernauld, on the same papers and were represented by Paul Kavanagh.
Mr Gardner, from Pollok, Mr Forbes, from East Kilbride, and Mr Kerr and Mr Siraj, from Glasgow, are being represented by the same lawyer and appeared in the dock together.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
If that's the case it will be laughed out of court then.
Aye, I'd maybe wear one of these to court to show how ridiculous and out of date this all is. God save the queenCan't embed via photobucket these days it seems. Alternatively, attend your local orange lodge Halloween party in a pope outfit, or dress up as jewish family or black person and there will be no prosecutions because "no crime has been committed". Unreal logic.

I don't think Brendan was too pleased about the moaning and groaning inside CP on Saturday.
"I was signalling to stay calm. This is football. You have to stay calm when under pressure, not just the players but outside. Or you can play Scottish football - just smash it up the pitch. It hasn't got you anywhere for 20-odd years. It is understandable that the supporters want to see the ball in the box, but I've said since I came up here, the quicker it goes forward the quicker it comes back at you."

Has anyone addressed how "here we go, seven in a row" doesn't quite run together very well?

He wasn't and nor should he be. I have seen it mentioned on here that not all the moaning was for us to hoof it up the pitch, but rather to move it quicker. This is true, but the problem is the players can't tell the difference down on the pitch. Just chuck the moaning and groaning. The players should be listening to Brendan and not the moans of the crowd, but some of our support really don't help with the pressure they put on their own team.

Didn't know where to put this but this thread seems as good as any.
If anyone has any Green Brigade stickers for sale/trade can you PM me? Been asked by a few supporters groups abroad if I can get my hands on any for them. Picked up the packs from that CSA on Saturday but there wasn't much in the way of selection there (5 different designs).
Cheers

Sorry but if I am in the stands and I see Bitton make crap pass after crap pass then I am going to struggle to not have a moan! Also Scott Brown doing more short passes that don't reach his man is not going to get me cheering him on!!
If the players do the simple stuff right then when they try something a wee bit more adventurous they might be forgiven.

There should be a moaning section...out in the car park. Guy behind me at the Astana game calling Bitton a carrot literally every time he had the ball - and sometimes when he wasn't near it either. Thankfully the guy behind him had a quiet word after about 30mins and he piped down after that.
As for Saturday, the moaning shouldn't be going on - surely by now everyone's learned how we play the game under Brendan? The roaring them on and up the park should but I feel it should be like that every game from the first minute a la GB as it makes for an unbelievable atmosphere. The two boys next to me literally sat and talked shampooe amongst themselves for almost the entire first half and I swear to god their eyes never even drifted towards the pitch.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep God save the queenCan't embed via photobucket these days it seems.
You can no longer embed images using Photobucket unless you choose to pay them something like 400 quid a year It's caused carnage on forums all over the Internet that have photo based 'how to's'
Right, that's a bit odd. It allows you to upload the pic and copy the url and nowhere does it say you have to now pay. Anyway, they can shove that up their arse. Only ever used it for this kind of thing anyway, and didn't explore any of their other no doubt amazing services. If you edit a photobucket image by adding ~original after jpg the image should show.

Clydeside walkway from Glasgow Green to Dalmarnock closed due to subsidence issues - may affect some supporters who walk that way .

Pretty sure it was in his last season at the club and I was so glad when he announced he was going.
