What's the likelihood of the standing section being extended? If it is, would it go across the Lisbon lions stand or would there be one in the Jock Stein/North stand corner?

for Celtic fans Fanzone in Janefield Street
Celtic want council land for Fan Zone outside stadium
Spoiler: click to toggle Stewart Paterson @PatersonHT CELTIC are planning to set up a match day Fan Zone on land outside the Parkhead stadium. The idea is for a space for fans to gather before entering the ground. Fan zones have been set up at many top English and European clubs stadiums and for big matches including cup finals and international matches. Manchester City have a “City Square” outside the Etihad Stadium with a bar, café, big screens and a small sage hosting events and entertainment provided in the hours leading up to kick off. Liverpool have two fan zones the Paisley Square and the Family Park beside Anfield Stadium open for events four hours before kick-off. Manchester United have considered plans for a fans square outside Old Trafford. Fan Zones are a common feature of European Club’s stadiums. Celtic are looking to buy a patch of land from Glasgow City Council in Janefield Street, which the council has owned since 1945. It has been derelict for a number of years and the football club want to take it over and use it for parking for disabled supporters. Across the street is where the club is proposing to develop the fan zone. The sale will dispose of land that has not been used for some time and generate income for the council. If the sale is agreed by councillors there will be a sell on clause much like that used in football which has made Celtic millions of pounds in recent years. The Glasgow giants received around £6m in January when Southampton sold former hoops defender Virgil van Dijk to Liverpool for £75m. It also received more than £1m in sell-on money when Victor Wanyama joined Tottenham, also from Southampton. Read more: John Hartson: When Celtic lost to Rangers, I didn't want to lift my head off the pillow If the land is sold the council said it will be subject to an “overage clause” to ensure the council receives any cash generated from any sell on or favourable planning consent that would generate income. The report to the council says the sale of the derelict land will allow Celtic to develop a fans zone on a site which was previously used for parking. It states it will “enhance the overall match day experience.” The land is outside the north west corner of Celtic Park on the north side of Janefield Street. The fans zone would be across the street. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/16148005.Celtic_want_to_buy_council_land_to_set_up_a_match_day_Fan_Zone_outside_stadium/

Didn't realise we got anything for Wanyama after the Spurs move.
Saw him the other night on TV. Looks almost like a different person. He's about half the size he was.

The Forge Side, next to the council tenements? I think I've only been to the other, Springfield Vaults side once and don't think I'll be going back.
Both of those parts of the walk-up to Paradise are bomb sites compared to the Celtic Way.. Maybe could negotiate with Cardowan Creameries to cover up their building up with a big sign or something while they're at it..

If you're at the front, facing the statues, walk up past the Kerrydale Suite/Jock Stein - where you'd walk over towards KFC etc. At least that's what I'm picturing?

I done the tour of Celtic Park today.
I was actually pleasantly surprised at it. I've done tours of the likes of the Camp Nou and the Bernabeau and they're obviously on a different planet in terms of scale and driving revenue but the Celtic one has a more personal feel with the guides etc. There's obviously room to refine it but I'd much prefer to stay closer to the way we do it than the way the mega clubs do when you basically feel like you're in a shop presentation

Cheaper and bettter than the stuff in the ground. And I'm not a fan of the whole fanzone concept tbh (although the Ibrox ones a good laugh)

The lady who did the tour was excellent and the short film they showed about the clubs history had my friend in tears. We were also given time to have a look around, have photos taken and to cap it all off, met Bertie Auld

Tragic news for the parents. Are we up for this? Are we getting involved in this or is this just the rangers fans? (Not expecting us to have blue balloons, green ones for us).
'WEE WARRIOR' Shattered Rangers dad asks fans to let off blue and green balloons at Old Firm clash in tribute to dying baby son Shattered Barry Brock has revealed little Koa - who is just eight months old - will donate donate his organs to save others after battling a short illness
Spoiler: click to toggle By Laura Murray A DEVASTATED Rangers fan has asked Old Firm supporters to release balloons at Sunday’s clash with Celtic in tribute to his dying baby son. Shattered Barry Brock revealed little Gers fan Koa – who is just eight months old – “isn’t going to pull through” after battling a short illness. The proud dad, from Dumfries, also told how his “wee warrior” – who is on life support – will donate his organs to save the lives of others and urged fans to pay tribute at Hampden by bringing a balloon. He wrote online: “Koa James Michael Brock 27/07/17. Unfortunately our wee warrior isn’t going to pull through. “But before he goes he’s going to donate his organs to save the life of others he’ll be watching over Hampden on Sunday and he wants everyone to bring a balloon. Koa’s mum, Haley Hamilton, said the tot suffered Meningococcal meningitis that struck without warning and “destroyed” his brain. She said: “The meningitis has completely destroyed his brain. If it was any other kind of meningitis he would have maybe lost a limb and I would still have had my little boy. “There were no symptoms, except for him being a bit grumpy, and it just came out of nowhere. “We rushed him to Dumfries hospital, but they don’t have the right ventilator equipment so me and Koa were transferred to Glasgow in an ambulance. “Once we got there his pupils dilated and they took him for a CT scan, the results were devastating. “The doctors said to us that there was no chance of recovery. I approached the doctors about organ donation before they came to me, I’ve had congenital heart problems and had everything from a stint to artificial valves placed in. “I might need a heart one day, how could I justify not giving Koa’s organs to help someone else? “If his organs save someone’s life then my little boy has had a purpose, his life was worth something, and that’s what he was meant to be here for. “The doctors told me that they only have 50 babies who are organ donors every year, there’s not enough of them, because no one wants to do it. “We want to raise awareness of how important organ donation is, it can save lives.” https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/2492522/rangers-celtic-balloons-koa-brock-hampden-old-firm/

Tragic news for the parents. Are we up for this? Are we getting involved in this or is this just the rangers fans? (Not expecting us to have blue balloons, green ones for us). 'WEE WARRIOR' Shattered Rangers dad asks fans to let off blue and green balloons at Old Firm clash in tribute to dying baby sonShattered Barry Brock has revealed little Koa - who is just eight months old - will donate donate his organs to save others after battling a short illness Spoiler: click to toggle By Laura Murray A DEVASTATED Rangers fan has asked Old Firm supporters to release balloons at Sunday’s clash with Celtic in tribute to his dying baby son. I'll bring a few green ones. Any idea if it's being done before the game or at a certain time?

Will do the same , would be good to know when this is being done
Heart goes out to the family, not even 1 year old just horrible.
I've not seen much about it on here so I don't think it'll be well observed by the Celtic supporters.
