Great news. The first piece of legislation to be repealed since the inception of the Scottish Parliament, I think. Tremendous work.

well done to everyone who helped rid the country of an unjust law which appeared designed to specifically criminalise Celtic supporters. 'We need to even things up' to paraphrase Roseanna Cunningham.

'We need to even things up' to paraphrase Roseanna Cunningham. Christine Grahame rather than Cunningham?
I am really proud of the supporters who did this.
They are getting some amount of abuse from government supporters on Twitter.
Maybe there should be an Offensive Behaviour in Politics Act.

I see North Lanarkshire Council have agreed to an Orange march on St Patricks day. But sectarianism is just a fitba problem obviously.

How could any sane and sentient being justify the fact that behaviour that would be criminal at a football match would be perfectly legal on an Orange walk?
Craven cowardice, how to avoid addressing an issue.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
There were more at the Hibs game than the hun game. Good to see the act being squashed but I expect the police will just come up with more BoTP charges now.
They may well do, but that was always the point - existing law had already criminalised the sort of behaviour that this Act was ostensibly designed to curb. https://www.scotcourts.gov.uk/search-judgments/judgment?id=1c2e86a6-8980-69d2-b500-ff0000d74aa7
the existing laws seemed to work just fine here!!

the recent cup game against Morton had possibly the lowest attendance (20,000?) I've seen at CP in years (no doubt Celtic will say the attendance was about 35,000 as that's how many tickets were "sold"). I understand the economic superiority that the bigger ground brings, but I still think it's too big. How many do you reckon were at the last home league game against ST Johnstone - 40,000 or even less? My point about this was that there are tickets available for most matches at CP, except the premium games - the scum and the CL games. If someone wants a ticket for CP there should be no problem getting one - apart from the aforementioned games you also think that winning on penalties isn't a defeat so your thoughts that the ground is too big should be treated with similar disdain
its already been explained to you by various folk and yet you still persist with utter nonsense
we should give up 7,000 tickets sold for every game on average because we don't always fill the stadium ...the politest thing I can say is that your belief is bonkers

Next home game, Saturday 31st March against Ross County, 3.00 ko - want to tell me what the attendance will be at that game, it'll save me guessing incorrectly, but I'm going to predict it'll be way below a full house.

You don't build a stadium for the attendance against Ross County. You build it, finance permitting, for what you can fill it with in bigger games.
Bigger games draw bigger crowds. It's how football has always worked in every country and always will work. Saying the stadium is too big when we get a full house plenty of times a season doesn't make sense.

Today I was paid zero dollars, therefore I am going to have to sell my house.
There was hardly anyone in my local on Monday night so they demolished half the bar.
CP doesn't have to be full for every single game in order to justify the extra seating and the extra revenue.

Did this not all start because someone said that the club should facilitate season ticket holders selling their tickets when they couldnt attend? FWIW, I think the stadium is the right size but fail to see why the club would want to introduce a resale scheme when it can sell a full face value ticket and keep the £30 itself.

Thwy would only need to do it if the game was a sell out, innit. Which, regardless of actual attendance, happens fairly often.

Maybe I missed the beginning, so fair enough.
Obviously resale of unused season tickets would be great for ST holders who can't use them for some games & folks looking for a one-off ticket. Maybe the Club hasn't gotten around to it because there isn't a way (yet) for them to make it pay enough to make up for the administrative issues.
Is there such a thing as StubHub over there?
Edit to add: missed your second point, which makes sense.
