Apologies if this is in the wrong thread. I drive through to games and park in Maukinfield Road (I think!) , opposite the whisky plant. I have parked there for 15+ years and never had any bother. This morning my three month old car is scratched on both sides, boot and bonnet!!! Any one else have any trouble after last nights game?
I've been parking at the top end of Maukinfauld Road for at least five years and never had any bother. The closest we came to any trouble was the Bayern game this year, where we had to juke in to Maukinfauld Gardens and one of the residents (leaving in his car) advised us not to take 'his' spot but to park in the 'visitor' space round the corner.

This sort of thing's a total pisser, I had the side of my wee Nova booted in 20 years back, parked outside my house in Wishaw, but probably this has just been a one-off by the sound of it.
Thanks guys. My new car is green so I suspect this is the reason it has been damaged. As I said parked there for 15 years and never had any bother. I have reported it to Police Scotland but not expecting much from them!

A simple system of reselling or re-allocating you ticket for games you can't make would be easy to implement.

It would allow you and the club to make some money back.

Barça do it, easy peasy!
Easy in practice , but how many do you think they would have shifted for that game on Wed?? Hee Haw that’s how many . It’s a joke . If I’m spending close on a grand for 3STs for myself and my 2 sons, then I think if one of them can’t make it or I can’t make it, I should be allowed to pass it on to brother/ sister/ father/ niece/nephew/friend etc etc . And rest assured if some arsehole steward pulls any of my kids aside ( especially my youngest) and harasseshim for ID or demands to see his FB profile , they’ll hear me as will the Ticket Office the following day

Well said, it’s a joke you are restricted to passing them on to “family”, as for the stewards it is totally again the Data Protection Act what they are doing!!! Sort it out Celtic.

Just been told a few hours before the game after enquiringly during the week about taking a young relative to the game with my mates adult season ticket that sits beside me, that I would have to cancel that season ticket and pay for another concesssoon. Absolute disgrace, customer service is terrible.

Thought the atmosphere yesterday was up a notch from usual domestic games.

GB try like feck and it was good to see others joining in.

 atmosphere was decent yesterday.

I do think it's bad craic that, after a victory like that, the team are doing a lap of honour to a near empty stadium.
It was noticable that, in injury time, sections 116-118 (daytrippers) were practically full and all other sections were mostly empty. Barring the front of 111.

While everyone has a right to leave when they want etc, I totally agree that a 3-0 win against the 2nd best team in the country deserved more fans remaining for the final whistle.

I've found this sad. The team taking a well earned applause in front of an almost empty stadium. Back to the whole leaving early discussion.

If the game is in the bag I sometimes leave about 10-20 seconds before the whistle is due to go just because I don't like how crammed it is getting out of the row then down the exits when the whistle goes.

First time I’ve ever left Celtic Park early. I so wanted to cheer the team at the end of the match but had a train to catch back down south. Given the shampooty signaling between Central and Dalmarnock, it meant I had to walk to Central to ensure I made it in time.

There wasn’t one public transport bus passed me on the Gallowgate between Celtic Park and Glasgow X. Utterly shocking provision. If you’re looking at reasons why people leave early to avoid the crowds, my experience yesterday provided me a completely different perspective as to why others do.

Merry Christmas! Just want to add to the consensus here, I'm up in the LL upper and I absolutely adore the GB. Sometimes the odd league game can get a bit boring and those guys are always singing and dancing and it really does help the atmosphere. Not to mention the recent food collection, that kind of thing makes me so so proud to support this club. You guys are amazing and I thank you. Hope you all have a great holiday.

Also how much dosh do I have to donate to be the drummer for you one day? :naught:

Merry Christmas to all our support and :worthy: to the Green Brigade great to see the huge flag of Palestine at the game especially at this time of year gives a pause for thought to those of all faiths and none about the past and the present

I left 5 mins before game finished as I have got my 3 boys to pick up from my mums. Then get home for baths and beds before the boss gets home from work. Would never leave a game early when I was younger.

I said to my mate, the big match atmosphere suits us perfectly. You could just feel a buzz as the teams walked out and the players responded. With the flood lights on it’s just magical.

To be fair, the trains were absolutely useless on saturday.

We left after the fulltime whistle and had to wait a good 25 minutes for a train.
