What a Celtic Da of an idea
It's certainly no worse of an idea than using "Celtic Da" as patter.
Rarely has non-Sevco patter had the arse kicked out of it so quickly.

Elliot the Tim is responsible for 99.9% of it too.
I would reply to this post but the moderators of this site still choose to vet my posts so that no one gets offended :) All because I called a member of the Celtic PLC board a carrot for calling our fans racist for calling out a Tory bastard.

If the Celtic Da was a real thing, it’d look something like that ;)

Club going for teenagers at the game now .....ffs..what next? thought this was put to bed last week after the apology for letters but obviously not.

They might be better (stewards and club that is) going for the smokers in the ground at halftime who smoke in the toilets whilst me and my little 3 year old cannot get a breath when they need a pee...nah lets pick on teenagers trying to get to see Celtic & testing there age.

Poor show.

Clueless and this must be down to the usual suspect :nono:
Are these checks confined to 6ft lads with a bumfluff moustache and a kids season ticket, or is everyone at threat of being frisked by the Parkhead Stasi?

Either way, it’s yet another PR disaster for the club and, perhaps more importantly than that, one that could cost them if they pursue this mental policy of hassling supporters at the gate.

Like many others, I can’t make every home game. Rather than my ST going to waste, when I can’t go I offer the ticket to young (adult) supporters who also spend on merchandising, programmes, Windfall etc. The threat of withholding my ST is enough for me to seriously consider whether £500 for the number of games I can personally attend is good value.

Where’s the commercial or practical sense in any of this? You’d think it was a European semi-final the way they’re behaving, not a midweek game in December against Partick effin Thistle.

Ticket office manager is on a crusade I think. She kinda got the blame for the letter wording, the apology went out, then nothing until this last night.

Either that or the security fella has moved on from the GB to the rest of the support.

I'm new. Be gentle.
Apologies if this is in the wrong thread. I drive through to games and park in Maukinfield Road (I think!) , opposite the whisky plant. I have parked there for 15+ years and never had any bother. This morning my three month old car is scratched on both sides, boot and bonnet!!! Any one else have any trouble after last nights game?

Aye Maukinfauld Road is across from the Dewar's bottling place. I park at the top of Maukinfauld Road (Tollcross Road end). Never had any problems.

I've been parking at the top end of Maukinfauld Road for at least five years and never had any bother. The closest we came to any trouble was the Bayern game this year, where we had to juke in to Maukinfauld Gardens and one of the residents (leaving in his car) advised us not to take 'his' spot but to park in the 'visitor' space round the corner.

This sort of thing's a total pisser, I had the side of my wee Nova booted in 20 years back, parked outside my house in Wishaw, but probably this has just been a one-off by the sound of it.

A simple system of reselling or re-allocating you ticket for games you can't make would be easy to implement.

It would allow you and the club to make some money back.

Barça do it, easy peasy!

If you're old enough to remember the chancers at the "boy''s gate" in the olden days :lmao:

Stewards asking to see facebook profiles would surely be breaching data privacy laws? :ponder: What right do they have to look at your private information? There's also no check on facebook age when registering anyway so pretty pointless.

Celtic allow fans to upgrade child tickets for all games - I do it for the rangers games and for CL packages - how is that going to work when my brother uses my grandson's ticket on 30th December?

Celtic will probably send through a paper ticket for the game if it has been upgraded, and the light at the turnstile will turn green? Shouldn't be any issues after that I'd say. They won't pull an adult up for a ticket that flashes green.
