Kerryjim for this very forum is question JPT on twitter about it.
Quite a few on the HB who have experienced it too. Absolutely not on morally and potentially legally too? Who are stewards to infringe on privacy like that (though obviously acting on orders)?
Yeah, seems to be a real invasion of privacy. Is there anything in the T&C with a season-ticket to say that your identity might be checked in this way? Even if there were (and it is highly doubtful), it seems a questionable approach. As others have pointed out, not everyone has Facebook (particularly kids) and, if you were impersonating someone, would you not just show the steward their Facebook page? Sorry, I don't have Facebook, so don't know the answer to that one...

It's a sad day when we're assuming everyone has this online presence and legitimising it as some alternative proof of ID.... :ponder:

So I don't have picture ID on a driving licence. Am I supposed to take a passport to the game? What if I don't have one?

I suppose there's my facebook profile picture, which I assume I have to register with Celtic betting partners to get wi-fi access, but what if my battery runs out of juice as it tends to do when I go on the internet? And how are people in the queue going to react to the hold up when I can't remember my password? And my profile picture is of Billy McNeill lifting the European Cup anyway.

Could I get taken into a windowless room and be beaten around the soles of my feet with a rubber hose?
Celtic WIFI doesn't feckin work anyway

It does.

It just blocks loads of stuff.

Seen someone moaning on Twitter to JP that because the WiFi blocks the betting site he uses, he couldn't cash out his coupon and it subsequently lost :lmao:

Saw that. He couldn't get 4G to connect and couldn't get on Bet365 via the WiFi and says he missed out on money because he would have cashed his coupon out before Hull conceded an injury time equaliser. :lmao:

The wifi doesn't block KDS.

He could have come here for a moan and a sympathetic hearing...

What happened with the GB last night with the ITHOL

Did their clocks stop?

Everyone was waiting on them starting the ITHOL then ended up going for the 69th min applause then the GB went for ITHOL.

Fair play to them though - was like a morgue without them last night.

Think Tierney scoring in 67th min threw it off a little

I’m planning on taking a child with my mates adult season ticket on Saturday. Emailed the supporter liaison to ask about it, last thing I want happening is getting turned away and tickets taken off of me. They said they’d let me know on Saturday - fantastic service!
What’d you think?

Shouldn't make any difference - would be different if it was an adult using a child's ticket

An adult using a kids ticket I can see their point from a financial point of view.

A kid using an adults will surely be ok.

Club going for teenagers at the game now .....ffs..what next? thought this was put to bed last week after the apology for letters but obviously not.

They might be better (stewards and club that is) going for the smokers in the ground at halftime who smoke in the toilets whilst me and my little 3 year old cannot get a breath when they need a pee...nah lets pick on teenagers trying to get to see Celtic & testing there age.

Poor show.

I see there’s a bit of a stooshy kicking off from last night. Stewards asking to see weans Facebook profiles to verify age, holding them until parents arrived. That puts the club on very thin ice indeed.
Highly questionable in many ways, and in any case not proof of age.

Not so sure - the phones were lit up waiting for the Capo. Don't know if he had brain freeze as he was only wearing a t-shirt  There was a delay, then everyone stood up to applause for the 69th minute, then the GB went for the ITHOL after that.

On a side not there was a guy about 3 rows in front of me who turned up last night in a pair of shorts  Looked like he had just finished 5's - had a body warmer, shorts and a pair of football socks on - mental
