It shouldn't bother anyone really and it is a sign of the times, but it gets on my nerves also. Up there with the clowns who wont put their phone away during a gig.
Yep.

There is no need to film large chunks of the game when highlights can be easily accessed online. Agree it is a sign of the times, but so unnecessary.
I quite enjoy watching the clips from the crowd.

Same here. Love seeing footage from the Celtic end when it's pure bedlam

I haven't filmed any part of a game in my life but I've no problem with anyone who wants to.

Aye. Some of the recent videos taken of the GB are great.

Can’t find it now but there’s a video taken from the crowd of JVOH’s last minute winner vs the huns that is far better than any of the footage from the TV cameras.

Received a letter today from Celtic saying that they are writing to all supporters regarding the sharing of season tickets between family and friends. Basically they are wanting a crackdown on people giving others their season card to go to the game.

Bit harsh considering if someone can't make it to a game, then they give that game to a family member/friend who in turn will be putting a bum on a seat and possibly buying drinks/merchandise at the game.

You'd wonder why? Seems a pointless exercise from Celtic as there is no way they can really crackdown on this bar ID for everyone which isn't gonna happen.

Plus there are loads of season tickets out there that have either CSC names or Company names on them

Isn’t it more to do with adults using child cards? Or are you talking about standing section?

If I’m paying upwards of £400 odd and I can’t make a game due to some unforeseen circumstance, then I should be able to give that ST to my brother or anyone else that wants to use it. However if it’s to do with the use of Child/ concession ST by Adults then fair enough

That'd be down to the stewards to chase up though.

Dear Supporter

Season Tickets 2017/2018

We are writing to all our season ticket holders to clarify an issue relative to the use of Season Tickets at Celtic Park. This relates to the use of a Season Ticket by someone other than the named Season Ticket Holder and, whilst this may not be applicable to you directly, we hope that by clarifying the Club policy on this matter it may prevent any confusion or issues arising in future.

Season Tickets for Celtic Park are for use of the named Season Ticket Holder only and the use by any third parties, including family and friends is not permitted. Further information can be found in our 2017/2018 Season Ticket Terms and Conditions, a copy of which can be found at www.celticfc.net/tickets

This policy is in place to ensure supporter safety and security and ensures the Club is compliant with SPFL regulations.

In line with the above policy, the Celtic Ticket Office is not obliged to provide information about the named Season Ticket Holder to any third party or facilitate access to the Stadium, for any individual who is not the named Season Ticket Holder.

The Celtic Ticket Office will of course always endeavour to assist named Season Ticket Holders, however in all cases relating to use of Season Tickets photo ID is required.

I would like to thank you for your co-operation in this matter,

Yours sincerely,

Angela Forbes
Ticket Office Manager

Could possibly be about Adults using kids tickets. That could only be the logical reason to send out such a thing.

Stewards aren’t interested. I’ve often used my youngest sons card by mistake and it’s never been questioned. Either they’re not interested or colour blind.

Oh, absolutely. I've done it myself in error. However, Celtic aint going to write to fans to ask them to stop when it's a case of stewards being lazy/disinterested.
