Prob gonna sound contravesal here. Undoubtedly the standing section has improved domestic atmosphere 10told, unquestionable .But it's has turned a intimidating atmosphere we had in Europe to an almost carnival. Look at when anderlect scored last night. Not even a break in grace which was being sung as if all fine and dandy. It's making almost a false choreographed atmosphere in champs league games with everyone almost waiting to see what comes from the corner to follow on. Compared to 10years ago at champions league games when without doubt there was a more intimidating atmosphere all round the stadium.
The atmosphere at Man City and Bayern games in the last 2 seasons has been pretty much as good as any over the 15 years or so. PSG was also buzzing until they scored. The shampooe results/performances are a bigger factor than anything else when the atmosphere is flat.
I think you are missing his point, we do create a good atmosphere but its a nice atmosphere. Our players enjoy it, opposition fans enjoy it and more importantly opposition players enjoy it. 10-15 years ago we used to boo and whistle the oppositions every touch for the first 20-30 mins and it defo used to disrupt them and our players could sense it. These days we pipe them into the stadium and give them lovely memories. I would love to see us scream and ball like nutters for the first 30 mins to put the shampoos up visiting teams again. It's turned into a version of that post about the huns with walkie talkies picking songs, except it's just one guy with a megaphone who's no even bothering his arse with the fitba and shouts at wee guys for not signing loud enough as a hobby.

Fans were just as pish as the team last night. There was a tension in the air last night even on the way to the ground.
The players looked nervous as well and the whole thing was pish.

The atmosphere is usually created by us scoring or having sustained pressure on the oppositions goal.
It hasn't happened in the home games this season with the exception of the 3 minutes after we equalised against Bayern

and I've paid my money, so I'm entitled to be annoyed when I'm deprived of the chance to watch the entertainment that I've just paid for. Leave early, if you must, but do it in a manner that causes the least inconvenience to the rest of us who are trying to watch the game.
Don’t think it’s restricted to early leavers. There’s a guy that turns up 5 minutes late for every game with two weans in toe. Every game it’s the same. I think they go to the snack bar first. There’s another guy that sits further along who goes for his Pie after 15 mins and usually the toilet during the 2nd half. 3 times I’m up and down for this clown. There’s a guy who will turn up tonight because it’s a big game. Usually a women and child who use the seats and he usually piles in mid YNWA which is a real pain in the arse. I’d say, supporters like these are more hassle than those who decide to get up and go before the game is done. Just enjoy the game, we are doing well just now. People are strange, wouldn't do if we were all the same.

eff sake. Just highlighting, it’s not solely early leavers that cause disruption.

Just highlighting, it’s not solely early leavers that cause disruption. And if you call folk getting to the game when YNWA is on - which is normally at least 5 mins before kick off, btw - and folk wanting to get food/drink and use the toilet (how dare someone need the toilet!) disruption, then aye, you're right.

I saw a PSG player practically creaming himself as the roar went up for the CL music. Its defo a highlight for visiting players. I agree though; the team has to do better to inspire fans

Here's what you're moaning about

1. Aye, quite annoying, but hardly a disruption making you stand up once. Unless every one shows up half an hour before kick off there's always going to be folk who don't get in for kick off, just cos the queues at turnstile if nothing else.
2. A guy wanting to go get something to eat and then needing to use the toilet - what are you actually wanting they guy to do? Hold it in til full time just so you don't need to stand up?
3. Contrary to what you were initially moaning about in point 1, you're actually now moaning about a guy showing up early cos it's normally when YNWA is on. So effing what? Is he stopping you singing or holding your scarf up? Should folk who arrive when that song is on just wait in the concourse until you're finished singing?
What's your guideline for acceptable arrival times?

You’re the one whose blown this into some massive issue. It’s an inconvenience when it happens consistently, every game. Do I start greetin about it? No, I don’t. I followed on a point about supporters being inconvenienced due to people leaving early before you waded in with your hyperbolic nonsense.
No issues with people eating or going to the toilet either - drama queen.

All fine and well, on occasion, not like clockwork. He's hardly being a drama queen by calling you out for what you said. I take it you never attended a game at the old CP?
