Why so folk give a eff when anyone else leaves a game?
It bothers me when people decide they'll leave early, stand up, decide something interesting might be developing and stay there right in front of you. Happens a lot where I sit. Want a better reason? Well aye, that’s quite annoying, but it’s no really what folk are moaning about here is it?

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
I've got the 10 minutes to go, need to leave brigade and the 5 minutes to go, need to leave brigade, in front of me, causing everyone behind them to stand up and if there's a Celtic chance, then clogging up the passageways as they decide to stay and watch. The reason fans get annoyed is because it spoils their view / experience. The players must also get a bit disheartened seeing so many leave early and so many empty seats with 10 minutes to go - wonder what they're thinking
People have different reasons for leaving early. It’s unfair to assume that leaving early shows a lack of commitment. I’m sure there are plenty who aren’t as committed as some of us, but there will be others who will leave through no fault of their own. I know some people have reasons for leaving early, but where I sit it's the same people who leave early every week - they appear to plan to leave early every week and disturb everyone else around, every week.

I know some people have reasons for leaving early, but where I sit it's the same people who leave early every week - they appear to plan to leave early every week and disturb everyone else around, every week. I went to a game with the Greenock CSC a few years back and some people left early to go and sit on the bus and we scored 2 injury time goals. I can understand people leaving to beat the traffic but it took the bus a half hour to get out of the car park.
Each to their own but going to games was always the highlight of my week.

different hoops, same outcome:- QPR boss Ian Holloway has apologised following his criticism of Hoops fans who left Monday's match at Brentford early. Two injury-time goals earned Rangers a point having been 2-0 down to their west London rivals.

It's the difference between a 15 minute journey home and being stuck in endless traffic jams. I'm sure the players don't care in the slightest.

People know how long a game lasts for , there’s no real reason for leaving early other than maybe if they have work or it’s a family emergency . Leaving to beat the traffic is a piss poor excuse in my book. But each to their own , no law against it. At Sunday’s game there were people leaving before the presentation and before the final whistle ... 🤔 I don’t get that

A fine heading our way, more money for the club to pay to Motherwell and will their be tit-for-tat on Saturday? But tucked away at the bottom is the fact that Motherwell have written to the SFA about the back to back penalties.
MOTHERWELL have complained about Celtic fans trashing toilets and seats during their match at Fir Park last night. The club has claimed more than 200 seats were found broken in the South Stand following last night’s dramatic Premiership clash.
Spoiler: click to toggle A club statement read: “We will work with Celtic Football Club to fully investigate, amongst other things, the numerous acts of vandalism, including 206 broken seats, damaged toilets and graffiti in the McEwan Fraser Legal South Stand.” Motherwell also said it would investigate a complaint made by Celtic captain Scott Brown that home fans were throwing coins at Hoops players throughout the game. Brown said: "There's a lot of talk about decisions but people are being hit by coins and getting stuff thrown at them pretty much every week now just because we're doing so well in the league and the away fans don't like that. "We've understood it's part and parcel with going away now. "Leigh Griffiths is hitting corners and getting things thrown at him. People have got to make sure we're OK as well. "When you're hitting a corner or a free kick, I know teams that shout and sing whatever they want but you can't be throwing things. It's not setting a good example. It's more when we go away from home." Motherwell said: “We also note the comments of the Celtic captain. “As we do at every match at Fir Park, if any incidents are reported to us, we will fully investigate them. “Should any evidence exist, we will take appropriate action against any individuals who have acted unacceptably.” The Lanarkshire club has also written to the SFA asking for clarity over back-to-back penalty awards for Celtic in both the Wednesday night match and the Betfred Cup Final at the weekend. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/15695268.Motherwell_accuse_Celtic_fans_of_trashing_toilets_and_seats_at_Fir_Park/

Folk moaning about when others leave really need to mind their own business. There can a many reasons why people may have to leave. As for being " disturbed" 😂 It's a football ground not a library ffs.

If you go to the cinema and the people in front of you decide to leave with 5 minutes to go, blocking the view of those behind them and then maybe stopping mid exit to catch a good scene, would you not be a bit annoyed, or would you just think, they must need to leave 5 minutes early as there's an emergency that seems to occur every week at this time?

Might be a bit inconvenient for all of 5 seconds, it's a real first world problem though imo.
unfortunately for you and anyone else who likes a whine about it these people have paid their money the same as you and can leave whenever they like, unless the t and c's say you must not leave in the last 5 mins and we have missed it somewhere?
