Doubt the guys that started the CSA would have wrote something like that.
Certainly those around in the early 80s wouldn't. I had the misfortune of meeting some of them at an Irish night in the old Springburn CSC. One arsehole was regaling me of tales of how his son was in the British army and had served in the north. That wasn't what bothered me, as I accept that economic conscription was rampant for windae lickers during that period. No, it was the need for him to tell a few thick paddy jokes. If that blazer chaser is still with us he most certainly wouldn't be best pleased.

Genuine question. If you turned up to an away game, Ibrox apart, without a ticket what's the chances of getting one from any of the supporters buses etc?

I went down to the concourse in the North Stand just before the teams came out . There was a group of bhoys singing Aiden MacAnespie , round about the toilet area. Most like myself quietly stood till it was over then went back to our seats. My son said that from what he could see and hear all our fans that were in the stands observed it. I have mixed emotions, politically I don’t agree with the Poppy Fascism that definitely exists, so my own wee protest is not to take part , and quietly stay out the way.But that being said I wish those who also disagree would also stay out of the way and remain quiet for 60 seconds. If for nothing more than to stop giving those around us who don’t need an excuse to attack us

I've always felt that the playing of the CL anthem is official recognition of the level of football we're competing in, and the roar during it as a GIUY to the huns who won't be hearing that particular music for some time, if ever.

You may be in a minority of one thinking about the Huns.

Can't imagine that they even entered the thoughts of a single person at the game on Tuesday night.

Agreed. A stupid post

That is a mind bogglingly large quantity of food, never mind the huge cash donations.
An absolutely phenomenal effort.
I cannot praise these people enough.

I sit to the right behind the blind section - on Tuesday night the Bayern subs were playing keepie up at half time and one of them thumped the ball high in the air and it looked like it was going to land in the blind section (landed just behind) - I was wondering if they've ever been hit by a clearance as they wouldn't be able to see the ball coming to avoid it hitting them.
Kind OT but I remember in the late 80’s, early 90’s I used to always pass this severely disabled lad, going to the game in his electric wheelchair. Would usually pass him going along Duke St and would see him regularly. I was only a young lad but always had a lot of admiration for that boy.

I hope, he’s still with us.
Just catching up with this after a few sad days, but if it's the same guy I am thinking of, he still goes into the Crown Creighton pub on Duke St. Well done once again to the GB and all concerned for the food bank drive, amazing totals all round :worthy:

I don't really understand the harm in it - why are you falling over yourself to be offended on behalf of other people (who probably wouldn't bother their arse about the comment) ?
To be fair he didn't say he was offended, maybe just thought it was a shampoo joke.
thank you

Didn't realise I was in such a minority, but I love the Champions' League theme, both for what it represents in terms of our participation at the highest level, and the music itself.
