It will no doubt have been answered before, but why are the first 3 rows behind both sets of goals always left empty?
Uefa regulations. Something to do with the advertising boards.

I've heard this from 6 different people today that there was far too many fans in the standing section last night especially at the back. Apparently once in someone collects a handful of season books then goes back downstairs to hand them out which lets fans in who shouldn't be there.
It'll end with another ban if it continues as it's a safety issue.
Row GG back of standing section for me and it was tighter with stewards than ever before.

Check at bottom of stairwell and top as normal, then another steward to check if you was in front/back of standing section

Then further spot checks throughout the game.

There probably was more people than usual but the club and stewards need to find a way to combat it, Can't just blanket ban everyone again. Don't see why they can't have a scanner as you walk up to the section to sign yourself in and out, then it'd be impossible for people to do it

Why the eff did so many people applaud Robben off the park?

eff him.
For the same reason a lot of people applauded their whole team at the end - appreciation of a sporting side who came and helped make it a thoroughly entertaining night.
It was a sub to waste time when we needed a goal.

Aye. Stand and give the tosser a round of applause.
Not a fan of the diving carrot,I certainly didn't join in on the applause for him,but on watching the game back like I said in post match thread,he certainly looked like he was enjoying the occasion,KT performed very well against him last night on the park

he was loving it when the teams were lining up at the anthem, looking all around with a big smile on his face

he was nowhere near as annoying and whiney and cheaty as he usually is and KT played him very well until he decided to try his luck on the other side

talking of supporters, anyone see the wee dick who got himself lifted on the platform at Dalmarnock station about 10pm ? Talk about being an eejit. :cuckoo:
Loved the guy on the other platform who, seeing eejit's puffa jacket, kept calling him"bubblewrap"
Along those lines, some wee roaster in 405/404 launched a drink down into the bottom tier near the end of the game. Absolute scumbag :nono:

As for Robben, it was probably just a collective appreciation of a great footballer. I personally didn't join in, nor did I with Iniesta or Kaka, but I can see why some like to applaud the greats. I actually think it's a nice touch.

Advertising boards are too big so the front 3. Rows would have a poor view.

The scanner wouldn't stop the over crowding either. The club can't dictate how many times a fan goes up and down the stairs at a game. Only way to combat it would be photo id on the cards.

So do I. It's maybe easier if you look back historically, but applauding Pele, Maradona etc off the pitch at CP in their pomp would be a good thing? :ponder: As long as they had played the game the right way (not done a Neymar). Robben was a bit arsey when he was younger but think in recent years been OK? :ponder:

He's a cheating, diving, arrogant, wan-fittit arsehole, always has been.

I'm not for applauding anyone off the park. Tweet them your adulation or write to them. During the match we should be making it as uncomfortable as possible for the opposition.

The blind section at CP is a couple of rows behind the dugout where you can see eff all.

They get a headset and commentary from a volunteer fella. Think it's about £50 for the season, so although a joke, it's kinda what Celtic already do.

The bottom half was packed. So much so that people who actually have a seat there were being turned away by stewards
