Brown wasn't the best player on the park - nor was he the worst. He had a steady game on a shampooe surface just back from injury.

To me he was, followed closely by Lustig and Ambrose.

Best man on the park today by a country mile.

McGinn never got a sniff.

He remains our main man, no one else on the books has his influence on games week in week out!
Refuses to accept being second to anyone, if we had three or four more with the same attitude we would be a real CL team!

Broony is that vital he needs to be protected and kept sharp so he's there for the big games. As I say saying in the Griffiths thread we have 2 games a week most weeks for some time to come. I hope Kouassi can give him a bit of respite.

Our midfield got a bit of run around against Hibs and Dundee and Celtoc Park. Today he refused to let that happen. It worries me a bit as we don't have a replacement

McGeough gave Brown a bit of a chasing on more than one occasion today. He was never the MOTM.

Where has his legs come from ? Under Deila he looked finished and now jenis playing almost every game for club and country and finished so strong today. Not sure where this myth that McGeough and McGinn gave him.a chasing. In a match where Armstrong and Mczgregor been An off day and looked fatigued the captain held us together

Said it in the post-match thread, but he seemed to be doing the job of three men in the middle of the pitch for us in that slightly hairy period in the start to mid second half for us.

Armstrong was knackered and McGregor was getting bogged down trying to get us further up the pitch in the absence of Griffiths doing anything meaningful. He was superb.

Games like today or really makes a diff if you are at the game. Can see all the off the ball stuff and players reactions. Armstrong was terrible and Brown was immense

Brown showed the leadership which was needed today - Was my MOTM but he often is - Roberts, griffiths, and even tierney had bad games today - Armstrong wasnt the worst on the park

MOTM thread

ran ragged by hibs today, last 15 minutes aside when hibs were basically bombing forward. Hardly won a tackle, offered the defence zero protection and him and armstrong were posted missing too often. Honestly wonder what game people watch.

We used to laugh at the huns and the record for constantly giving ferguson an 8, seems a few of our fans do this with brown constantly.

Him and boyata were at fault for both goals.
Absolute tosh. The first Hibs goal - Scott Brown gave Boyata the ball in the centre of the park in plenty of space. Boyata unfortunately got the ball caught under his legs.

For the second goal it was Whittaker who broke forward - Armstrong never tracked his run. Whittaker then played a through ball to the Hibs lad who had darted between Lustig Bitton and Boyata.

I think it's clear you never actually watched the game.

If you don’t see what Brown brings to us and think he had a poor game yesterday you don’t have a clue what you’re watching

MOTM two games running.

People who can't see that are either blind or taking him for granted.

Last time we played Hibs, McGinn bossed it cause Broony was missing. Yesterday McGinn was made to look average.

McGinn IS average though.

Hibs are a mid table club, miles off the pace and certainly not a challenger for any trophy.

Fact is our midfield was non existent v Munich / PSG and were over run in Astana for a spell when were 5-0 up and hanging on ....that's when the alarm bells should be sounding.
