eff yeah.

Musonda may have been a waste but this is a really good idea from the club, young players with potential on loan with the option to sign permanently. Sign him up then do the same again, Moussa who? :ph43r:

Imagine if we want him, he wants to stay and a deal is all but in place it will drag on publicly but behind the scenes it will be all done and dusted.

Think that was French Eddy talking about him actually. He slips between alter egos with admirable ease.

Someone on Twitter called Robin Bairner is tweeting some quotes from Edouard from L'Equipe

Robin is a good friend of my wee brother. He’s been covering French football for years now and last I spoke to him he was working for goal.com as their main French football correspondent/reporter. I know he’s only quoting from a L’Equipe article here but it sounds promising.

He should be a Celtic player before much longer, outstanding work.
NtCham, Ajer, KT, Edouard, Dembele we've got some seriously impressive young players - all 21 & under.
We're working wonders & they all talk very highly of their time at the Club, can only be good for attracting more of the same.
Looking forward to this being official very soon.

Strange. In the original article in l'Équipe, he says "between the Odsonne of 10 months" and not "the Édouard".

Is it true, Celtic are being spoken of quite highly - in terms of a good career choice for young French players?
Seen some talk online, how is that reflected in France mate?

The French bhoys adventures aren't top of the news, but you can find sometimes recognition of Celtic being good for them. During the international week in October or November, France U21 coach was quoted on L'Équipe TV praising the choice Moussa and Olivier and the excellent relation he had with Brendan Rodgers to develop them. After we clinched the league a London based journalist Philippe Auclair, known as the French reference on British football congratulated Édouard, Ntcham and Dembele for having made the right choice to play for a great football club known for bringing up talented youth playing football the right way. Auclair is an annoying idiot but he had a point for once.

I listen to Auclair on the Guardian podcast -- he tends to know his stuff and, by the standards of English-based media, is generally fair to Celtic. He does fancy himself as a bit of an intellectual, though, but then, he's French!

He was originally a musician under the name of Louis Philippe, fan of British pop music. He was a kind of cult indie guru based in London. I didn't like his music, boring and too "precious." When football became trendy for intellectuals and artists, he admitted his passion for British football and Arsenal especially. I hated Arsenal. I didn't like his praise of Le Guen at a now dead club.

The main positive of Brexit is that it was a massive GIRUY to Auclair.

Can't do any harm.
The French look like having a great bunch of youth players, I'd love to sign more - starting with Eddie.

Injury and form has disrupted consistency of striker selection. But what has that done to striker consistency of performance? I compare Dembele, Edouard, Griffiths and Sinclair.

Rodgers said he might make a miraculous recovery. Doubt it though.
