Does like to miss a chance though. Quite like him, has to learn he doesn't have the time up here.

Same criticism that Griffiths gets. We can't afford players who score 3/3 chances. 1/3, 1.5 out of 3 will have to do.

Seriously, aside from Larsson, what other striker have we had in the last couple of decades who scored from every one-on-one, or even 2/3 one-on-ones?
Hooper.
Just outside the time but Cadette was the best finisher in one on ones I have seen at Celtic (not counting Larsson)

Doesn't suit playing up front himself, it's a very difficult role to play for a young inexperienced player. Linked really well with Dembele and brought others into play all night.

Totally agree that he is no good on his own up front. He looks much better particularly with dembele. Showed great pace and composure for the goal.

One thing he does need to get better at is moving the ball away from the defender when in on goal. He seems to want to bring it onside rather than outside which makes it easier to clear.

His movement is the best out of any of our strikers, without a doubt.

Just don't give him the ball on the penalty spot in a cup final...

still hurts.

I thought out with his first two games, Keane was pretty lethal considering the team he was playing in. I actually think cadete was at least as good as Larsson on one v ones but nowhere near the same level of complete player.

Scored a one v one that day that was shockingly disallowed.

Cracking player. Going to have bad games while we find out how best to use him, but last night seemed a pretty effective way.

I'm sure his finishing will improve, but he's already shown he knows where the goals are.

An excellent auto of CGAF about his finish when 1 on 1. Smashed it past the keeper without a second of doubt. Good player.

Jorge Cadete.

Wow!....what a striker...particulaty 1 vs 1's.

Wonder how many goals he'd have scored for us had he stayed 6 or 7 years?

Would like to see us get this boy back for another year on loan. Think he's got potential to be a good player and won't be anywhere near the PSG team.

Rodgers believes Edouard, the 20-year-old Paris Saint-Germain loan player who opened the scoring against Craig Levein’s side with a fine individual goal, is also poised to come good.

He added: “Odsonne doesn’t have people behind him trying to piece together a load of propaganda about how good he is and how he’s linked to other clubs. People can just just pick up on the fact he’s a good young player and whose gone into international football and broke all types of records.

“He’s been brought in here because I think he can go into the team and play at any time. He probably should have had three goals the other night. So he’s an exceptional talent. I’ve never had any doubt about him.”

Rodgers added: “It was difficult for him when he first came in, but he played in a role just off the side the other night.

“He can do that because we’ve worked on it in training and we’ve seen how clever and bright he is, how fast he is.

“He’s got goals in him, his first goal the other night was absolutely brilliant, running at that speed to then lift it with that power, it was an outstanding finish.

“He’s disappointed he didn’t score his one on one and there was another one that came back to him. But his talent is there and what’s pleasing for me is the graft he puts in.”

Loan striker Odsonne Edouard also pleased the Parkhead boss with his performance, coming in off the left to link up with his fellow Frenchman Dembele.

‘I think because Odsonne has come in here and he doesn’t have people behind him trying to piece together a load of propaganda about how good he is and how he’s linked to other clubs, people can then just pick up on he’s a young player,’ said Rodgers.

‘This is a boy from Paris Saint-Germain, who was their top scorer through all their levels of youth football and this includes when Moussa was there and all the other players.

‘He’s gone into international football and broken all types of records. I think he scored against Scotland in an Under-17s game.

‘He’s been brought in here because I think he can go into the team and play at any time. If you look at his goals-to-games ratio since he’s been here, he probably should have had three goals the other night.

‘So he’s an exceptional talent. I’ve never had any doubt about him.

‘He’s got goals in him. His goal the other night against Hearts was absolutely brilliant, running at that speed to then lift it with that power, it was an outstanding finish. He also works exceptionally hard, which is really pleasing.’

His touch is very good and once he gains strength and experience he should be well capable of playing the lone striker role. At he moment, Dembele up front with Edouard breaking from the left looks very promising.
