Looks promising but seen nothing thus far that would indicate we'd be willing to break the transfer record fee for.

Huge potential - currently lacking match sharpness & still to adjust to new style of play / language problems

Can't expect him to settle immediately but I do think he will have shown enough, given the opportunities by the end of the season.

Ideal replacement for Dembele and also opens the door for other promising young French talent.

I've spent longer on the pan after a vindaloo than he has on the park for us.

Judge him when he is playing regularly

If he gets the chance to play regularly that is.

Even if he is good enough I have a feeling we won’t see enough of him to warrant an £8m outlay.

Spot on.

The boy needs time and a run in the side before being judged

Also true, but the rate our players are getting injured he might find his chances easier to come by.

Doesnt help the players further up the pitch that we spend a lot of the time moving the ball back and forth between defence and midfield looking for the time to push further forward.

The guys up front will be getting very little time on the ball compared to the reset of the team - would be really interested to see any statistical info on this.

That’s our game though.

We move teams around in the first half, to tire them out, which opens up the space later in the game

My gut feeling is he won't do enough to make it with us because he looks very raw. Rodgers will get the best out of him though and who knows what kind of player he will look like by the end of the season.

He’ll do probably do very little, go back to PSG, score 5 or 6 goals and then get bought for £120million the next season.

While Leigh Griffiths keeps banging them while fend off £15million bids for him.

He'll either need to be really good in training or have an outstanding second half of the season to get a contract.

As he has not played much first team football it is difficult to know what to make of him so it will be mainly down to BR and his coaching staff to assess if he has a future at Celtic.

Him, Dorus De Vries, Liam Henderson and Patrick Roberts are all out of contract in the summer.
Roberts is the only one playing regularly and, IMO, is the only one who should get a new contract.

It's not up to us if Roberts gets a new contract.

Someone who doesn't understand Celtic can't renew the contracts of other club's players.

Thanks for your input.

What I was meaning that he is on contract to Celtic (at the moment, because he is on loan and we have a contract with Man City to play him) and the only one I would keep.

I would keep him as he has been here for near enough two years (?) and has played plenty of games (40+) and has been a stand out in a lot of games.

I am aware that he is not our player but along with the others I mentioned he will be leaving in the summer and is the only one I would offer a contract to...subject to talks with his parent club!
