Getting noticed in the reserves

Good luck big man. Playing 2 games a week we need cover for every position. Didn't hurt us last season to be fair but gives some lads a break and Moussa is still to come fit yet. Hopefully smashed the huns if nothing else. Trust Brendans judgement if he told me a bear shampoos indoors I would believe him.

he's a decent chance of starting next Friday after WGS runs Griffiths into the ground.

This is exactly the type of back-up striker I was looking for. It will give Brendan the chance to rotate Dembele and Griffiths, both of whom are susceptible to niggling injuries, and allow us to go two up front whenever it's required without much risk. The boy will get plenty of game time, IMO.

And we have an option to buy at a price we can readily afford. What's not to like? Welcome, son!

I wasn't fussed about a third striker for the reasons BR has articulated.

But this does make sense. Loan deal if young promising player. Basically gives him a 12 month trial to see if he could replace Dembele when he leaves.

Great signing ...hearing a lot of good things about this kid from my cousin who lives in france he is a football nut and has been raving about this kid.

Him Dayot Upamecano and Lys Mousset are considered hot prospects along with our own Demble....

These are good times to be a Celtic fan.

He could score 50 goals and we still wouldn't pay £8-10m for him. Cannot believe people really believe that given our recent transfer history

Potentially a good signing though

Probably a good thing that we got him on loan given that he's a bit mental by all accounts

There are reports that an £8m fee had been agreed for Roberts, only for Guardiola to change his mind.

If true, it would appear we were willing to pay that sum. I don't see that being any different in a year's time for Edoard if he produces the goods.
