Would be interested to see analysis of time taken with throw-in and our likely hood to retain POSSESION. time should be measured from moment taker picks up ball. My son did it for one match and it appears the quicker you take it the more you are likely to retain possession. If its that simple why do we sometimes take so long.
Because there's normally only one baw?
That is a completely different point that you need to take up with PL. I was measuring from time the actual taker picks up the ball.

Injury and form has disrupted consistency of striker selection. But what has that done to striker consistency of performance? I compare Dembele, Edouard, Griffiths and Sinclair.

Whilst doing enough to win the SPFL again, Celtic have upped their game in one off Cup matches. Here's what gives hope for the Scottish Cup Final despite recent SPFL form.

Although unbeaten in four games against Motherwell, Saturday's Cup Final opponents have been harshly hampered by sendings off. What do those matches tell us about prospects for the Treble bid?

How do Motherwell's performances against Celtic compare to the rest of the SPFL? What does this tell us about how the Scottish Cup Final will go on Saturday?

Celtic secured a double Treble with a 2-0 Scottish Cup triumph over Motherwell. I take a look at each individual players’ performance. How did your favourite do?

5490 minutes, 61 matches, 34 players, 9 months and 3 trophies. The numbers behind a double treble in terms of overall contribution.

He “Liked” one of my Tweets, so he be awright.
Probably not quite as good as the other central defenders and a bit injury prone. But he leaves with medals and good wishes. A Sviatchenko retrospective.

Celtic continue to leak more goals than they should, especially in Europe. With injury to Gordon there were 3 ‘keepers to compare over the season. Is the current crop good enough?
My season review continues with the goalkeepers.

Defensive Action Success can be measured across a number of core capabilities to assess overall effectiveness. Earlier in the season Ajer was reaching Van Dijk levels of defensive performance. Did he maintain that to the end of the season?

Analysing possession confirms Ajer has been Celtic’s most effective defender this season.

32 out of 54 goals Celtic conceded can be attributed to individual errors. Who is making them and what is the impact?
The seasons review continues. I think I’m done with defending. Will get onto the more interesting attacking stuff now!!!

Passing stats are often derided as meaningless. But they are all part of building a picture of player performance and style. Does your favourite get Pass Marks?

How effective is a pass? How does the data help show who the most creative players are? Which players combine most effectively? Using the concept of Packing can help answer those questions.

34,678 passes completed over the season and 126 goals – 275 passes per goal! There is always goal of the season but what was the pass of the season?

http://celticbynumberscom.ipage.com/assists-and-chances/

Celtic scored 126 goals from 1120 chances or a goal every 8.89 chances. Sinclair led the way with 15 assists but does that make him the most creative Celt? Who were Celtic’s creative craftsmen sculpting the Double Treble?
