If he's good enough for Brendan, he's more than good enough for me. On the question of height, the finest header of a ball I ever saw (inch for inch) was Uwe Seeler - 5'7"

For the champions league, we are unlikely to come up against teams who just launch theh ball forward. Our centre backs need to have more to their game. If we wanted someone to smash it away, we could've asked big mick mcmanus to come out of retirement

Not the biggest but looks like he can read a game, is mobile and can pass well with both feet. Good prospect at only 20.

Will obviously be taking a big step up when he comes to us and I don't see him playing too much this season, if I am honest. But he looks like a decent player in the YT videos I have seen and looks tidy at the back. If he lives up to his potential, he could end up being a part of a very young, athletic and exciting back line.

Welcome home.

Some of those cross field passes from the left were majestic. Reminded me of Shuggie The Pole

Don't want to get carried away but he looks like he could be the next Beckenbauer.

No, not at all.
He's named after Rivaldo, was the youngest ever player for his country, he's around the same height as Baresi, Mascherano and Cannavaro and he's two footed.

If anything, he'll probably piss all over whatever Beckenbauer did in the game.

I applaud your comment. :rocker: :worthy:

Sounds like another project, and a midget, to boot :ponder:

Could always convert him to a defensive-mid :ph43r:
Older references online have him as 1.79m (5ft 10in) but more recent say 1.83m (6ft).
Be interesting to see which one is right. Those video clips appear to show he’s taken a wee stretch.
Looks a player though.
He's only 20, wouldnt be surprised if he's grown since the older references.

Worth a punt. I'm pretty sure Brendan could get a performance out of a lamppost if he felt like it, he'll have no problem with this lad. That gives us Dedryck, Jozo, KT, Nir, Kristoffer and Rivaldo who all can play CB, assuming Brendan doesn't fancy Mikel there - with Erik off to Copenhagen so I'm given to understand (if a price can be agreed). Ralston and Miller as cover for the full backs, with McGregor and Hayes able to play there at a push. Plenty of cover. Just need a striker now, and Paddy.
