He trains on the track at Dalziel Rugby Club, weather permitting. I've seen him practice running backwards, the meerkat eff  :mitb: :carrot:
Aye but he can see everything that’s going on behind him.
Aye, that was the worst decision ever for me and the SFA done hee haw about it. Everybody bar referees is publicly accountable and as long as that continues we are up against it in these games. I’ve no complaint about Jozo’s red card as his arm was not in a natural position, even though there was minimal contact and Morelos made the most of it. The big problem was John getting away with what he did, not once but twice. In any other game being referred by Collum, knowing his way of officiating, John would have walked. Absolutely no doubt about it. Any other ref bar him might have let him away with a yellow but not this muppet.

Celtic should be complaining about that performance and better doing it after winning the game when no sour grapes can be levelled against us. The semi final will doubtless see more of the same and BR will need a thick notebook to list every possible eventuality at Hampden and prepare for them. He’ll be burning the midnight oil for the next month.

This, one hundred times over.

I rarely step into this Referee thread, it's a thoroughly depressing read. Depressing that the refereeing set up appears to be completely impregnable, regardless of the weekly displays of ineptitude and corruption; and incredibly frustrating that all clubs seem resigned to just taking it on the chin. Week in, week out we read about ludicrous decisions that cost clubs points, or sees their players injured through a failure to punish foul play, yet those hard-done by players/managers/clubs seldom protest.

It seems pretty clear to me that Celtic as a club have a policy of not protesting refereeing decisions. At every level - from players during a game, Brendan post match or the Board - no one protests. There's a reason for it, some logic behind it, but I cannot get my head around just WTF it is. As success under Brendan have accelerated to history making heights while the huns continue to reel from humiliation to humiliation, the injustices have increased. The cheating bastards are more brazen than ever, they are emboldened by Celtic's apparent meekness and unless checked, more of our players will be injured and we will lose games, maybe lose records.

The aftermath of Sunday's game is the time to start. It should have happened immediately after, but it was only 2 days ago, there's still time. When was the last huns game we played in that was honestly officiated? The 5-1 thrashings, when we were so far ahead a team of referees couldn't have stopped us? Never mind the huns, we're up against it in every domestic fixture, to varying degrees. You just know Motherwell will kick the feck out of us on Sunday almost entirely with impunity, until the last 10 minutes or if we get 3 goals clear. As far ahead of the huns we are, bent officials are a leveler. We need to speak out now to at least try to shame them into officiating an honest Semi Final.

Our players need to get in their coupons a bit more. Way too accepting of honking decisions.

This all day.

Collums cheating starts from the first whistle.

Forrest fouled just before the goal.

John taking Forrest out. No yellow.

Broony & Rogic both fouled moments prior to the Huns having a chance to go 2 up.

Some of those decisions in the 2nd half are absolute cheating of the highest order

He was my RE teacher in second year. Sounds like a duck (no autocorrect) and looks like Randall from both Recess and Monsters Inc.

A little rodent. And cheating bastard to boot.

Great quote from the Celtic Tv Commentary

'He might be a teacher but he is definitely not a maths teacher cos that is never 10 yards'

Not sure how I feel about that. Yes, I think we need to assert ourselves with the ref when bad challenges are being made but at the same time there needs to be that balance where we don't lose the rag and get inside our own head about it.

Some of the challenges on our players this season and last have been potentially career ending. Rodgers has already publicly commented on it. Motherwell and St Johnstone are populated with thugs.

The free kick in the second half that Ntcham unsurprisingly hit the wall with after Dembele was assaulted was max 8 yards. I was saying to FIL as it was happening.

The grass is cut in blocks of 6 yards as can be seen by the 18 yard box taking exactly 3 blocks.

The free kick is on the edge of one which makes it easy to see they should be 2 yards from the back of the next block but one.

They are actually max 2 yards from the front.

It’s hardly quantum mechanics to work out 10 yards, again total incompetence.

Radio shortbread in full on back the ref, get Lennon mode tonight.

Other than Commons who started down a road of saying Lennon gets more bad decisions than other managers then backed out of it no one mentioned how bad Clancy’s decisions were against hibs

Nothing better than a Lennon bashing episode to cheer up the hordes :nono:
Steven Thompson who I don't mind was ridiculous in his disgust that Neil didn't get a far longer ban for his disrespect for Clancy.
Then Charlie Richmond was on the phone to further stick the boot in to Lenny. As for Kris 'dead air' Commons :ffs:
He took at least 5-6 seconds to answer when asked his opinion
That is an absolute age on live radio, I was just about to check the fuse hadn't blown before he eventually piped up with some stuttering pish :brickwall:
