Probably no coincidence that St Johnstone can get tight against us when they are allowed to kick us up and down yet get dispatched by the Dog and Duck when they get into Europe. Tommy Wright was rather arrogant talking about the Lithuanian team who put them out before the match and bemoaned they didn't 'get in their faces' enough after losing.

Pish like yesterday encourages these clowns to keep Scottish football in the dark ages.

I know it's not involving us but there was some seriously bad officiating in the Hibs v Aberdeen game. McLean I think it was was already on a yellow and committed a foul that was borderline red never mind a second yellow and the ref bottled it. Hibs' players were furious with him. As easy a decision as can be and nothing given.
I saw that on the BBC highlights; sliding in, off the ground, misses the ball and fouls McGeoch (sp). Dallas correctly gives a foul but for some mental reason didn't give a second booking.

Beaton had a bigger influence on the match than might be obvious to those who didn’t see it simply because he let just about everything go until late in the game when the St Johnstone players he booked were in little danger of being sent off for a second yellow card. It was blatant cheating.

The closer it is at the top of the league, the more we’re going to witness this type of refereeing.

And in the near future the same ref will give 2 yellows for 2 soft fouls. If Dallas is a cheat, he’s the most dangerous kind, one that’s hopeless to go along with it

Beaton isn't biased, unless it's against both us and Sevco, because his performance in the Sevco 2-3 Hibs game at the start of the season, as funny as it was, was pretty shocking too.

I don’t tend to get into this type of discussion but having watched every decision yesterday, Beaton let a succession of bookable fouls go. In the main I’m on about our players being pulled back. Fouls like these went on unpunished from early in the first half. Yellow cards no question but not yesterday.

If Beaton isn’t biased then he’s totally incompetent.

When a ref so consistently keeps letting clear yellow card offences go, its not down to incompetence. Either his eyesight is failing or there's something more sinister.

Remind me again who Aberdeen play next :ponder: And that's why McLean wasn't sent off!

Aye. Big player for saint Johnstone McLean. He's no very good but experienced and very dirty. Scored a fair few goals v us and in the Scottish cup final for them too I believe.
