And that's the way we like it...

He let them off with persistent time wasting, and even contributed to it. That farce in first half when yet another hun rolled about in their box as if pole axed: the trainer eventually responds to the scene by ambling halfway up the touchline towards the corner flag, then jogs down to the box on to ‘treat’ the player; Madden eventually instructs them to leave the field but allows them to take the same, long route rather than going off behind the goals.

No major issues but towards the end Bates wrestled McGregor (I think it was) to the ground. This was perfect Griffiths free kick territory. I don't know about anyone else but even as it was happening I knew Madden wasn't giving it.

Similar to when Nakamura was deadly at free kicks we never seem to get awarded them when we play the team from Ibrox (other than 1-3 down deep into injury time).

we have had far worse than yesterday, if we can go into a hun game certain of a performance like from the ref, I would be happy

A couple of poor decisions yesterday but nothing that bad.

The one when Armstrong was wrestled to the ground and they got the fk was baffling.

Gollum sends a Saints guy off. Strangely forgot the laws when Sevco were involved.

He booked the Hamilton goalscorer for running into his supporters in the same way Declan John (think it was him) celebrated his goal but didn't get booked.

Interesting that you can now be offside from a throw in.

I'm new. Be gentle.
Actually thought Beaton was OK tonight. How he made space for himself with that back-heel to Brown was the move of the match! :worthy:

He was fine tonight. The focus was on that clown of a linesman flagging for offside from a throw in. Exposed on TV, commented on by the pundits, but he'll get another paid gig next week. Either a cheat or feckin incompetent, probably the latter. Either way, he should be on gardening leave.

I think he just switched off as the throw-in was in the opposite half to him and next thing he sees is the ball landing at the feet of a Celtic player in an "offside" position. Still a poor decision to make though.

Both were penalties last night. Lustig should probably have been off.

Sammon should have been booked for his celebration but by not booking him it meant Griffiths wasn't either so that's good.
All in all he was fine.

That linesman is worth the watching, a complete clown.

WTF was he doing when the throw in actually got taken, cause it travelled about 30 yards ffs?

For the watching? He should be struck off, the carrot.

In all my years of playing and watching football, that's the first time I've seen a player being flagged for offside direct from a throw in. An unforgivable error for a linesman in a top flight football match. The ref was laughing at him after it.

Stood for ages with it raised. What's going through his heid? Embarrassing.

He put it down as if he'd realised he'd made a carrot of it, then promptly stuck it back up.
