Any pics of the rumoured second and third strips?
One meant to look like a Dortmund effort!

Did New Balance offer more than Nike or did Nike just wrap it?

Nike wrapped it. Think they decided to cut down on sponsorships with football teams.

Can anyone from a retail background tell me how much we get in the pound from the sale of a football top?. Someone on a sevco site reckon their new deal is worth 70p in the pound.

Sounds doubtful, someone who appeared to know about this stuff said the previous Sevco deal wasn’t all that bad when you look at the details.

Something I learned from watching Dragon’s Den is that the retailer (not manufacturer [Hummel] or license owner [Sevco?!]) expects 50% of the sale price themselves, and of course that isn’t all profit due to their own costs like distribution, store rental, utilities, wages, admin
And - no sniggering at the back - don’t forget VAT

The biggest problem for Celtic home kits is there is only so much you can do with the "hoops" without changing them dramatically.

It's all about selling for the club and the makers so you have to bring something different out from the previous.

The biggest complaint about this strip seems to be broken hoops. Well it's not really, only the sleeves. And if it didn't have that then it would look almost identical to this years that everyone loves. Will you go out and pay £50 for almost the same shirt?

As for sponsor logos, well they pay the cash so there name goes on the shirt.

Club badges could be of higher quality right enough.

It's actually more difficult to work/change an iconic design like the hoops than it is with a plain full body colour shirt like MUFC and the rest.

There's images on the Sports Direct site of the new kits.

Sponsorless Junior kit

Long sleeved with sponsor

Short sleeved with sponsor

Also says it's available from 18th May. Out for the Cup Final I guess.

Not as nice as the current top. And not as nice as the mockups that were on twitter, which is quite often the case. 3 new strips every season is a fecking joke anyway.

I'm new. Be gentle.
It's definitely a grower. Thought it was howling at first, but I'm leaning towards liking it now.

No wonder people buy from AliExpress etc..
Quality is about the same & full kit for under £20, nearly £50 just for a kids top is shocking & I doubt I'll ever pay that.
If it was about £30 for a kids top, I'd get the real one.

we've had strips with anything between 4 and 7 green hoops, maybe try bigger hoops like the above?
