It’s kinda hard to take New Balance seriously as a kit manufacturer when they’re too lazy to look at our oppositions colours.

Aye Liverpool are their main focus, they effed us over this year depsite the nice home kit. shampooty plastic badge to avoid embroidering a new badge, 3 green kits with Hibs in the league...

It’s not just their fault. Someone at Celtic should have realised we’d need a fourth kit when they presented this seasons aways strips to them. No doubt next season will have every colour except green on offer.

It's fine. Who gives a hoot really. Everyone always gets worked up over the new kit every year, and it's always the worst one ever. But why does it actually matter that much to anyone?
I don't want to look ridiculous at mass on a Sunday.

The reason the badge wasn't embroidered was because of the text around it.

The NB kits have been crap in my opinion. Yes this season's look great but when I went to buy one I was surprised at how poor the quality is. Rubbish heat transfer badge and the material just feels cheap and nasty. If it wasn't a Celtic top you wouldn't part with your cash for anything made by NB, it is just not the same quality as Nike or Adidas.

I'm new. Be gentle.
I for one would be pretty happy if we went back to Umbro following the new balance deal

Home kit is nearly as bad as the 2015/2016 kit. Like 90's Sporting Lisbon Jersey. Awful.

People keep mentioning templates...i'm not quite sure what is meant by this? There's maybe only 3 or 4 other clubs i can think of that wear hoops, so there's unlikely to be a generic template available for them to use. There's still two years to go for NB and all it would take is one brilliant kit on that final year of the deal for us all to be happy enough to renew the deal. Ultimately, it's not that big an issue really. As long as we're winning the shirts will sell.

Adidas and Nike these days use templates for all clubs minus their top 10 or so. In our case we would get a slight bespoke hoops on one of their plain templates but apart from that we’d have the same kit as 8/9 other teams with a slight difference in colour or something. Similar to what all brands do with GK kits.

The Umbro strips of the 1980s were templates. And that is a golden era of shirt design. I don't care if we have the same construction template as every other team in a manufacturer's stable. I want to see a short that doesn't look ridiculous. This does, as does two of the three other shirts that NB have produced.

Apparently this is our new home strip, apologies I’ve no idea how to embed :(

Nearly chevrons down the sleeves.

Might look better on the players and get the sales that way.
