Pre match top and jacket for the new away kit
Nearly impulse-bought that jacket from my phone, but the website version looks a little bit of a lighter green, which slowed me up just enough to remember that (1) I am nearly fifty effing years old and about to spend $100 on a training jacket and (2) my wife would probably react poorly when told I bought it because it "guarantees getting your hole around the world."

Still a beauty though.

If you wear that jacket, anywhere on the planet, then you're guaranteed your hole.

I don't know who decides these things but that training top is FAR better than the actual strip

Why is that not the away strip? 100 times better than the rugby shirt kit they have plumped for

I'm surprised there isn't more love for this top. I think it's an absolute beaut.

Would have gone for black shorts with it personally but it's all good.

So according to a guy that would know, New Balance originally pitched a blue and black third kit

navy blue and gold trim/crest, could've marketed the blue as the colors of the conquered Inter, which now that I think of it, is probably the logic of black and blue. If they can come up with the marketing of the pink strip because if its connection with the color of tickets, then that wouldn't have been too much of a stretch either.

What better than an inter milan top to celebrate 50 years?

Edit: barrybhoy is a bastard.

That was exactly the reason why.

As positive as a few reactions are on this, Celtic were right to tell them to eff off. Pink was bad enough. We don't play in blue.

New Balance giveth; New Balance taketh away.

While we don't have a wide choice of acceptable secondary colors, we typically make an arse of colour or design for our away and third strips.

The pink effort would have looked better as a single colour. I didn't mind the ticket connection, but it would have made more sense this season with the Lisbon badge.

I've a Nike Celtic polo shirt from 2011-ish that looks like the green away kit, with fewer hoops. (Bands, rather than hoops.) Black and green (choose one of the two greens) hoops with a crew neck would have looked much better.

There are some things that are difficult. Designing football strips aren't one. Choose from v-neck, crew-neck, and a combination of the two (think the 1986-era collar), each season. Don't do anything daft with the seams, or any pattern. You'll sell out each issue more often that not.

Me too though the collar lets it down somewhat.

Still say we should have an orange strip, that way we would have green, white and orange just like the flag
Would send the zombies even more raging, it that's at all possible
