His link up play for Sinclairs goal was class, would love to see him get a run of games playing alongside Griff.
Say we put two up top .. It means the man playing just behind the forward (rogic) dropping out. It also means Sinclair and Forrest (or Roberts) playing a more rigid, conservative position in a 4-4-2 so would likely reduce their movement and effectiveness. Basically, in order to accomodate two strikers we'd stifle three of our most creative players. There's a reason we play the formation we do and why Rodgers hasn't once tried 4-4-2 which is an outdated formation

Moussa's hat-trick was sensational. Who would have thought, when Harry Hood scored three against Rangers in a league cup semi final on a wild and rainy December night art Hampden in 1973 that we'd have to wait nearly 43 years to see the next Celtic hat trick against them!

I was at "Harry's game", and although his goals were smartly taken, (and he had a fourth wrongly chalked off for offside) as were Stevie Chalmers' in the 5-1 game in 1966, Dembele's were more impressive. Of course, in the sixties and seventies we were playing against very good Rangers teams, not the dross we faced yesterday. Not to take anything away from Moussa, for a twenty year old making his old firm debut, that was a fantastic display!

And also a now very dead Rangers team, Moussa's was the first hattrick against the new club.

I think his best attribute is his composition. For a boy so young he doesn't panic at all. The third goal he's got a lot of time to watch that ball come over to him then, bang, touch, strike, up yies.

Rodgers played Sturridge and Suarez together often enough. He seems to like 'transitional' formations a lot with the back 3 idea with Tierney tucking in to make it a 4 so I don't see why we can't accommodate Griffiths and Dembele without playing a flat 4-4-2 or by shunting one of them wide.

Agree - why can't we play 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 I'm sure Brendan will definitely play Griff and Dembele together quite often especially against SPFL opposition.Only in European games he'll probably go with either or, as its another level entirely as JC once famously said ( correctly I might add ).Weve got so many options with the 6 signings ( including Ajer ) it's a fantastic position to be in

I said it when we signed him that Fulham fans weren,t crying over the loss of him. Most people on here made fun of me and my "imaginary" Fulham friend. I stand by what i said then, he dont seem to be the goalscorer that takes us into the CL this year and these matches doesnt change my mind. And people can say Lincoln alnt amateurs to defend him all they want, you dont need to be settled to score against a team from Gibraltar if you are a natural goalscorer..

So happy that he took his hat trick on Saturday but let's not get things out of perspective here. As muted on here so many times prior to playing them, the players he was up against were of a really poor standard. I expect him to start v Barcelona due to Griffs injury. He'll be a lone striker with instructions on receiving, holding and playing in the midfield, whilst looking for a return pass. Let's see how he performs that role in the team and if he can go onto to be a really good player.
