Dembele just stood there with his hands on his hips & didn't move an inch as Sinclair took/scored the penalty.
He should've been on his toes, ready to slot the rebound if Sinclair missed.

Not a great attitude, but I can see his issue - even so, he needs to focus better.
Yep noticed that as well, didn't move an inch as Sinclair ran and hit the penalty. And just turned round when the ball went in.

He's a young striker looking to get more goals and confidence, he is the designated penalty taker so can totally understand why he took the huff but from the team point of view we can be doing without 1 of only 2 decent strikers we've got taking the huff with his team mates.

I hope Rodgers has had a word with him and Sinclair and everyone is on the same page for next time.

I think people are making far too much of this incident.

It happens. People get pissed off, then move on.

His face has tripped him in a couple of games now. Having a moody striker who wants to score goals isn't a bad thing to have, as long as it isn't allowed to affect the team.

He's joined in with goal celebrations for other players goals and went over to the GB section a couple of times after games to celebrate so I think he just genuinely wants to score as many goals as he can.

Goal hungry striker gets pissed off when other people score goals. Hardly a new phenomenon.

If it's true that Griffiths is out then the boy can become a hero tomorrow. I've got a feeling he'll rip them apart.

Cant understand the hysteria around this. If Leigh is out so be it. Moussa has had a good start to his Celtic career. Hasn't let us down ever. And wont tomorrow. If he starts he scores

Think that's what makes this all the more exciting. They've been frothin' at the gash since it seems Griffiths won't start tomorrow.

We've been told he's trained well all week and was sent for a scan yesterday just to see how his injury was coming along. Why is it then so ridiculous to believe he could still feature? :ponder:

Yea, I'm confused by this...

I'd be amazed if he didn't start. Griff is a cert to start imo.

There was a stupid article in the Daily Mail claiming that he might get an England call up once he has been UK resident for five years in 2017. This is because Allardyce and co have basically given up on English clubs producing English players of any quality at all.

That isn't how it works, Daily Mail! (and he has been capped at every level of the French youth setup already anyway, so I can't imagine he wouldn't be called up by France if he were to look remotely good enough for England in the future)
He wouldn't get an England call-up while he plays in Scotland anyway. Gary Hooper didn't get one when he was scoring 30+ a season, Fraser Forster only got a couple becuase Joe Hart played in the EPL and Alan Thompson got all of 45 minutes despite being comfortably the best English left-sided midfielder of his day. The French probably don't pay much attention to Scotland either (you'd think Agathe might have been called up to a squad at least) but I doubt they'd be as parochial about our league as the English.
The biggest miss England had was Sutton. Sutton was excellent in CL and EL for us and was a far better player than Heskey.

What a shame for them.
Absolutely, they should have made amends after Sheringham's tenure, that was the time to do it. They went down another route and have never looked any great shakes since.
