Without going overboard, he reminds me of a young Pele.
Yep, you're right to hold back in this way. Don't want to raise expectation levels.
Hold on. I was really serious there.

Would be a real coup if we signed him by the sounds of it.

Won't get my hopes up until it's signed, sealed and delivered though.

Was the deal not cancelled because Tottenham didn't want to loan him back to Fulham?

Iknow someone (friend of a friend) who was part of his medical at Spurs that he failed because of a heart defect, and since then no top teams will take the risk. But yeah he'll be a prem standard player in the SPL, far too good ]

Got to love that medical details and confidentiality ethos of these professionals.

I'm happy to take the punt if our guys say he is ok.

If he really had a heart defect that stopped him passing a medical, would he not have had to give up professional football?

Can't say I've ever watched a match he's played in, will check out YouTube videos later. Looks like he will be a good signing, decent record in the championship and had some big clubs watching over him. Can't wait for the season to start now.

Who was our last french player? Surely no Mahé?
Technically it would be Marc-Antoine Fortuné or Kamara (even though he chose to play for Senegal)

Can't say I've seen him play, the YouTube video looks ok but nothing to really blow you away

In saying that you can't argue with his goal scoring record in the championship at the age of 19

Given that, he should do very well up here
