Excellent bit of skill & improvisation. Still think Sinclair hit the ball off the goalie rather than the goalie making a save, but both played well regardless.

I'm not really seeing it yet with Dembele. Thought he lost possession again quite a few times last night.

Still very early days but I'm just not seeing the excellence that others are
In my opinion, you'll see it next Tuesday. He's an away man I reckon.
Hope so, Griff isn't the best away up front on his own. (If we go 1 up front)

Well and truly part of the fabric now, I don't think he fully appreciated what he let himself in for when he signed, being a 19 year old French lad coming up from the big smoke it'd be a fair assumption to believe he was a wee bit naive but that goal against Astana got him off the ground and he's looking fitter and sharper ever since, his touch and flicks are sublime at times, has pace and power, is good in the air, on the deck and can take a penalty, this lad is going to have an amazing time here.

We can only speculate that he was naive but I agree it was always going to take him a little time to adjust.

It didn't stop the panic merchants writing him off though and at least one paper was asking how long will Moussa's goal drought last. This was after 3 competitive games :ffs:

He will score 20+ this season and create a fair few too.

Anyway another crucial goal Moussa, well done.

Nobody wrote him off?

"needs a bit of time" has been typed too often on this forum when assessing strikers. If we started a thread on Rasmussen or Bangura some would still give them the benefit of the doubt.

We benefited from a cross-border loophole that lowered his price tag significantly.

He needs to start scoring. Its as simple as that. We're already playing key games that will define our season and he needs to turn up. I don't really see what you guys see in him unfortunately. Hopefully I'm proven wrong.

-----------------------------

Once he scores one goal he will loosen up, relax and then likely go on a run of goal scoring. He's still very young.

I'm fairly confident will score more than 25 this season.

No he won't.

-------------------------------------------

Why? He hasn't looked like scoring so far

He has a reputation and will be on a decent wage. It's not good enough to make clever runs or make space for himself or make a few decent touches alone. He has to score goals.

---------------------------------

If we get 20+ goals from this guy i'll be absolutely amazed.

We must buy another striker, Griffiths will not play every game obviously, but being left with Dembele and Cifcti is really worrying.

-------------

That's just some posts from earlier in the thread

Is changing opinions a bad thing?

Surely clinging to an opinion regardless is worse?

I should rephrase that as too quick to judge or dismiss.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if Dembele starts on his own up front in Israel.

Looks even better seeing it there.

Absolutely fantastic bit of skill.
Plus he took a header into the camera pit. All action. :rocker:

Would be a great close up of the heel flick from that Camera Pit and funny to then see him crashing over the top :worthy:
