Needs a supporting central midfielder to take players away from him. He gets the ball and ihas to hold it for a day to wait for support.

Didn't like the fact he couldn't get his rear end off the bench when Griffiths scored. In fact, he didn't show any emotion at all. Needs a goal.
He clapped. :twitch:
A small symbolic clap. Looked more like i dont give a shampoo if we equalized attitude to me.

I said it in my first post. This is why many Fulham fans didn`t like him. He has a big ego and if he dont do well he dont seem to care how the end result is. Still done nothing to prove to me that we should concentrate on him rather than spendig that compensation and wage on a finished product.

Seems more enthused about the goal/result on Twitter than he did at the time.

He was limping just before he went off. I don't think it was one of those Bitton limps.

Do folk still think he should be starting ahead of our 40 goal a season striker or is he now another Balde type project?
Has he started in front of our 40 goal a season man?

Let's be fair it is still pre season and no doubt he will come good in the next few weeks just finding his sharpness but can see he will bring something more to the team.

He's 19 ffs. Give him a chance. He's only been here a few weeks.

Don't see players of Zidanes level commenting on the potential of the other carrots we've had play for us over the last 3 years.

I'm more concerned about the fact he doesn't ever seem to want to pass the ball. At all.
That irritates me beyond belief. Not a great sign.

Should add, I am certainly by no means writing him off but the 'he needs a goal' argument is redundant at such an early stage of the season. He needs to integrate himself into the team first and foremost.

The fans are still understandably reeling from the Bangura, Balde and Pukki disasters. It's still fresh in the minds. If it wasn't for Griffiths...well, I don't even want to think about where we'd be! The point is, with our recent striker calamities, people are going to judge more harshly. Every criticism I've seen so far has been fair and reasonably balanced. Forget the fact he hasn't netted yet, there's plenty of time for that. It's everything else that's mildly concerning at this early stage. His downright refusal to pass to a much better alternative on the field being one. Thankfully, he's young and has plenty of time to learn.

I can see a player there. It's not quite coming off for him yet, but let's see what he's like after he's got that first goal under his belt.

My first impression of him is not good. Seems a sulky arrogant, "it's all about me" player. I sit 5 rows behind dugout. Noticed during the Imps game Griffiths was having a few angry words at him during 2nd half. Dembele just stared at Griffiths as if he was somewhat below him (IMO)
Then when he got subbed. BR had a wee encouraging word in his ear, he then high fiver most of players in dugout, missing out Forest. I just get the impression he's got an attitude problem.
Hope I'm wrong.

Looks like he does a two footed dive forward. Doesn't mean he wasn't fouled but probably not a penalty.

looks to have went down a bit easy , but the defender did put pressure on him . From other angles we might be able to see if he had an arm across him
