Magnificent player, he has every single attribute required to be a top center forward but I honestly think he has another gear to go and it won't be until he is competing with world class players for a starting position and facing world class defenders every other week that he will reach his true potential.

I don't mean that he doesn't turn up in a lot of games its just that once in a while you can see is so focused that he is scoring whether the opposition like it or not, first Huns game, Man City and yesterday being a few of them.

I’d rather we kept him till his contract ends than sell him now. Unless the mo eh on offer was eye watering, his value to us on the park should outweigh any financial offer. He was magnificent today.
Absolute folly with our current transfer model. Won’t happen
Aye, we need that cash for this model to work. If the offer comes in, off he goes.
The thing is though, if he can consistently play like he did yesterday then 2 more years of Moussa would be worth more to us than any transfer fee we can realistically expect this summer. I'd like to think we're not relying on his eventual sale to keep the lights on, so surely if other circumstances allow it, the model can be adapted to accommodate a guy who genuinely has the potential to be our best striker since Henrik if he continues to apply himself. It's not like he's our only sellable asset.

I realise if he has his sights on an eventual move then it might all be a moot point anyway. And yes, in that case it makes sense to cash in this summer. But I don't believe he has any appetite to play for a no-mark, mid-table side in England, and I also don't believe a top 6 team would take him just yet - considering the money and options at their disposal. I'd hate to see us actively trying to punt him to teams he doesn't want to go to just so we can net that transfer fee. It sounds like there was an element of that with the whole Brighton ordeal in January - around which time his form plummeted.

Anything below £20 million sounds less appealing than two years of a fully-fit, in-form Dembele.

How much left on his contract?

I can see him holding off making a decision and if the right one doesn’t come in it’s very possible he would stick around. Clearly got a good group of friends around him, one more year wouldnt hurt.

He must be an absolute nightmare to play against.
When I was at Uni I played in a 7-aside league and the team from the year below had a guy who’d been on killie’s books up to about age 18. He played up front and I was playing at the back. It was a humbling experience for me. This guy was about a foot taller than me, built like a brick shampoohouse and had great touch, pace and strength. Whenever I tried to get close, he’d hold the ball up, then spin off me (I could barely see round him if I got tight) and if I stood off he’d either skin me for pace or just shift his feet and leave me on my arse.

Now, to be fair, I’m absolutely shampooe. But watching how Moussa played yesterday reminded me of that experience and left me with absolutely no sympathy for that bunch of hammer throwing carrots. It was magic.

Was immense yesterday, ragdolled both their thugs at the back. Hold up play is sensational too.

Nice to see him talking about the reception back at Celtic Park. All the French speaking players were together at the back of the bus (Boyata, Ntcham, Edouard, Kaussi and Moussa). They all and their phones out filming the madness on top of the police car because it was directly below them. They loved it.

Obviously if Celtic get a big offer for him, he will go.....but, only if it is a decent club. Not sure what went on in January ....but I don't think will Moussa will leave Celtic for Brighton or Bournemouth or whatever, even if they are highest bidder. Well, I hope not.

I had similar experience while playing for the scouts. After being taken to cleaners a few times I just started ploughing right threw back of him every time. I eventually got sent off. The referee told me I was the first ever player he had sent off and our coach told me I was first ever player to be sent off in history of our team. Kind of claim to fame I guess.

Thought Brendan was very clever yesterday. Sent Dembele and Larsson to warm up at the exact same time. Of course the crowd rose to acclaim Larsson. You could see Dembele looking around taken aback. I think Brendan was giving Dembele a little look into the box of delights. "You could be king".
