Building on work from Ashwin Raman I look at how Dembele and Roberts compare against the cream of European under 21 talent using 2 key attacking metrics.

Judging by his Instagram he’s currently in Bradford. Assume he must be injured. :ponder:
He was in Glasgow yesterday afternoon. I saw him about 3pm.

Wherever he was its a bit odd that he wasn't with the squad on the day we expected to win the league, regardless of any injury.

Unless we didn't expect to :bawman:

Good. We'll likely need another hat-trick from him the way our back line is lately.

I was talking with someone in work today and they said that Dembele's Twitter feed has been taken over by Nike (told they were his boot sponsors) and any photo of
Dembele on it does not show the NB logo on the Celtic shirt.

I can understand one company not wanting to sponsor another company (Nike advertising NB Celtic shirts) but I'm sure NB will not be happy that one of the biggest stars in Scotland has a
Twitter feed that does not show them.

Anyone one of the Twitteratti on here know if this is the case, regarding Nike and Dembele?

Moussa has a big deal with Adidas. They run a separate social media account for him (dembelation)

Not unhappy with Eduard playing, but losing Dembele is a real blow. He utterly petrefies them.

If you asked me about 6 months ago about the big fella leaving I'd have said keep him at all costs

However Edouard is proving he could well be a more than able replacement.

I'll stick my neck out a bit and say Edouards probably got better movement off the ball.

Hopefully dembele gets the big move to one of the European giants he deserves and we pocket a decent amount of cash.

i'd like to see us hold onto him to January, but at the very least we need to keep a hold of him for the CL qualifiers.
