Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
He's not at the level of Solanke or Ings or even Sturridge?

I meant at the level to be a first team regular, not a squad filler.
Solanke has made 23 appearances this season. (0 goals)

They have a fantastic front 3 in Salah, Mane and Firmino but not much strength in depth beyond that for the amount of games they play.

Yes but the jury is still very much out on Solanke. He hasn't as yet made the impression he was expected to. Sturridge won't be back and Ings is marking time until he moves to a lesser club. I think Moussa could play for a club as good as Liverpool in due course but he would have to develop some aspects to his game that he doesn't have at present. I think if a move comes to England it will be to an Everton or Newcastle type club. and eventually if he continues to progress a big move will happen.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deepPlus Pep didn't sign Zlatan.

Couldn't see City being after him but it would be good for us, Roberts, Denayur and 10 million please :naught:

My guess would be average English clubs after him, best case scenario one of the big sides signs him and loans him back for a season, or he signs a 6 year deal and stays with us :)
:suspect: :suspect: :suspect:
He was manager at the time but so was BR when Liverpool signed Balotelli. Barca signed Zlatan as a show of strength as Madrid had spent a fortune on Ronaldo and Kaka.
He did sign him.

He wanted Zlatan to replace Etoo, who he'd wanted out from the start.

Crazy in my mind, given the deal but he got his wish

It should have been Zlatan plus 40m for Eto'o. No idea how the actual deal got sanctioned. Daylight robbery.

Yeah the fee was crazy but it was the Barca hierarchy who wanted him. They'd joked about Kaka costing as much as Barca's CL winning team but couldn't be seen to be letting Madrid get ahead. Zlatan was probably the best of the rest at that time.

He was asked this week if he thought he could improve US Soccer as a whole. He said he'd love to, but he's married with two kids now.

I was in Bradford last week. I can’t imagine why anyone who grew up in Paris, then lived in London and now lives in Glasgow would want to go to that shampooehole.
