Quoting limited to 3 levels deep

Did they credit Phil ?

They ripped him off but to hide it they did it before him and in a less irritating writing style.
Hard but fair...

I could see us keeping him to January. He's had a very stop start season with injury and playing second fiddle to Griffiths at times. I can't see his stock being highest this summer, he needs a strong few months playing, scoring and performing in Europe before we should let him leave.

Agreed, I think he is in a similar situation to Armstrong. He sees himself away from here in the not too distant future but at this time he is better staying as it is unlikely the offers will match his ambition, due to the season he's had.

The difference with Armstrong is the contract situation, which means Armstrong will probably have to lower his sights (or sign again with us).

The "story" is the Daily Express. Mind you, it's been written by arch-hun Scott Burns so could well be mischief making.

It was a joy to watch Moussa at Hampden. He was back to his magnificent best and absolutely ragdolled the hun defence. Hope we see a repeat in the next game against them which I fear will probably be his last before he moves on in the summer.

15m? Theyd need to double it to get Celtic into selling.

Even that extra 6 months would mean we'd have to accept a lower fee. Unless he signs a new deal we need to sell to get the highest amount possible. It will be shampoo to see him go but it's going to happen at some point so get the biggest fee possible.

Extend his deal. It'll mean everyone gets more money if he does go and if he doesn't, well, he looks as if he's enjoying himself here.

No chance he’ll go for £15m. There could well be interest from a number of countries including England, where it will be much bigger and better clubs than Brighton. This will push the price up and he’ll have a choice, no doubt about it.

Sunday's performance was terrifying. For a kid to literally batter a defence like he did was brilliant.
If he can repeat that level of performance for a few games, the big guns will fight it out for his signature. In the current market £15 million wouldn't buy his shadow.

Can see this happening but can also see him leaving at the end of next year.,

I don't think we will get 30 for him but if we sell him for 15 then something is seriously wrong.

My relative works at the club and is an ex player.

He was close to leaving last window but club(s) looking at him & valuation was not what club wanted either.

He destroyed McCrories footballing life last weekend and great perfromance from him just wished more often this season as his a a vital cog in how we play & when we play at our best he plays.

We're never getting close to £30 million for him off the back of this season's form. Best we can hope for is something in between with a good sell-on.

Love the guy, but I think expectations need to be realistic.
