That's my view on things. Hartson, Sutton and Larsson were all big game players, who hammered the wee teams as often as the bigger opponents. That's were the questionable aspect of Moussa's 'application' arises. He often fails to deliver on the wee stage.
Hartson, sutton and larsson were better players and had far better players around them to help them out. They also played in a dynamic attacking team, not the side ways, pass it back keep the ball at all cost pish we have just now. Hartson, Larsson and Sutton were seasoned pros when they played for us.
Dembele is 21 - people are too quick to forget that

Genuinely think his demeanour this season to last looks different. Striker position for us is so key to us and oir success that no coincidence we are struggling whilst he is.
Think he has only scored ed 8/9 league goals says it all.

By the way, see last season when he was banging goals in, you still had fans moan about his demenour. It was constant.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deepDembele's performances in the last month or two have been brilliant.
Keep saying moussa is playing brilliant just now.. maybe it might happen ...good on ye. Good luck with that. What else does he need to do?He's scored 5 in his last 6 games. 2 of those games are the hardest games we'll have all year domestically and he also bagged an assist in both of them. Again with the shampooty stats, the guy has been piss poor for most of the season, he scored goals in the games where he could be bothered to turn up...end off!
Now we all get the fact that you have a special sock with MD's name stitched on to it, but coming out with pish saying he has been brilliant in the last two months either shows that a) you are to blinkered by your love to see what is there in front of you, b) you know sfa about what is happening on the pitch or c) you are a trolling carrot who gets a hardon from posting absolute nonsense!
Pretty sure folk have been banned for less on here!

I honestly believe the main thing holding back his performances is a reluctance to get stuck in against a fairly spiteful opposition.
Still think that challenge from Kipre months back was a turning point for him.

Pretty sure folk have been banned for less on here! Folk have been banned for less than me saying that since mid Feburary Dembele has been, on the whole, brilliant?
Lets run through his performances
His last 10 games
Celtic 1 - 0 Zenit : A Dembele masterclass. He was central to everything that was good about us in that game. Celtic 0 - 0 St Johnstone : He came on with 17 minutes to go. Unfair to judge. Zenit 3 - 0 Celtic : One of our only performers with pass marks. BR singled him out as being outstanding after the game. Aberdeen 0 - 2 Celtic : Scored and assisted. One of the best players on the park. His assist he ran the length of the pitch with the ball. Put in some shift Celtic 3 - 0 Morton : Scored twice. Rangers 2 - 3 Celtic : Scored an absolute world class goal and ran the Huns ragged in their own pit. His pass to create space for Edouard was delightful. Motherwell 0 - 0 Celtic : Poor. Whole team were pish. Celtic 3 - 0 Ross County : Got his goal from the spot. Probably could have scored more but didnt have a bad performance at all. The game was over after County went down to 10 men. Celtic 0 - 0 Dundee : Unlucky not to score. Average performance. Hamilton 1 - 2 Celtic : Again, should have scored. Not his best game.
You not happy with that?
If Tierney was that consistent we'd be talking about him being worth 150 billion pounds.

Dembele is 21 and he's been brilliant when we've needed him. A few average performances and we've got the clueless scarf tying csc out to call him shampooe. It's pathetic.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deepDembele's performances in the last month or two have been brilliant. What else does he need to do?
He's scored 5 in his last 6 games
What part of my view isn't the same as yours in that post? Do you think he was shampooe in the other games? Dembele is 21 and he's been brilliant when we've needed him. A few average performances and we've got the clueless scarf tying csc out to call him shampooe. It's pathetic. When Dembele leaves you'll all realise what is gone.
So we only need him in the big games??? Why oh why is he so poor against the wee teams then? Cos we don't need him? Pretty sure he gets paid for every game he plays in, a goal against Aberdeen is worth the same as a goal against Hamilton or Dundee no? Dembele won’t really be too fussed what is goal bonus is while at Celtic.
As soon as he makes his next move he’ll probably on approaching 100k a week wherever he lands.
